Aside from the embarrassment of writing this review, I am happy to share my great experience with this product. I am 28 and never had children, but due to some medical conditions have difficulties with muscle strength and stress incontinence. I bought this product for two reasons: stress incontinence and a rude remark from a guy about my not being "tight enough." I find this product to be very easy to use, clean, incorporate into my "exercise" routine, and comfortable to use.

After using it for a little over one week I noticed three things, the above mentioned guy, well he was done/satisfied within 5-10 minutes, LOL, he doesn't know that I've been using it, and that time frame is VERY unusual for him. Secondly, my stress incontinence is better, beware though I have had my moments where it seemed worse (which I attribute to muscle fatigue) so I advise easing into this exercise routine. Lastly, I noticed a review saying it can be uncomfortable, which I have noticed a little after using it for over a week, this I attribute to increased tone, strength, and regular use; perhaps a day or two off would decrease this.

I also highly recommend a book in which I learned about the gyneflex, and find equally important to women, regardless of relationship status or sexual orientation. It can teach you overall better health and give you the ability to have spontaneous orgasms (by just intentionally contracting your kegel muscles). I have had 3 babies in the past 6 years (one was 10lbs!), and things just weren't the same down there......I had been doing kegels as advised by my obgyn (or so I thought) after a bad cold this fall, and peeing my pants everytime I sneezed or coughed, I realized that something had to be done. I found the most positive reviews on this set, so I tried it. Here are the pros and cons

Pros

Super easy to use- read the booklet and do it, very easy to use

Doing the kegels correctly- I thought I was doing them before, but after using this product, I realize I wasn't- you can FEEL the difference, when I first started, I could only hold one for a count of 3, now i can hold for a count of 20

Longer orgasms- Thats right, ladies! After a few weeks of use, orgasms now last a long time, at least three times as long as before- to the point of having to stop them. This probably should be the first Pro....

Increased vaginal control- My husband enjoys this Pro

Increased urinary control- Marked increase in control of bladder (no longer peeing when i laugh hard, some sneezes, though)

Cons

Time consuming- This is not quick, to do the reccommended 3 sets of 20 "reps" with a ten second hold for each one, takes a lot of time, 15- 20 min. I have been doing only 40, because they reccommend doing it nighly untill you achieve the desired results, and then 3x a week to maintain it. 60 justs takes too long to do every night, I'd probably skip it often if I did the whole "workout"

Not complete control- I still have a bit of peeing when i sneeze, so its not a "cure all" but it is definitely better.

In all- great product, pros outweigh the cons, worth the money, effort, and time. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is the time reccommended, and the complete bladder control ( wich it claims) However, its only been 1 month, so its possible it will get better

Hello Ladies,
I am 44, have not been sexually active for eight years and recently met the love of my life. I had always thought that I was tight/in good shape down there but was curious so I decided to try Gyneflex the regular strength as recommended. Wow, imagine how mortified I was on day one when I could barely isolate the correct muscles to close the light pink one! But now three days into this I am so impressed, excited and thrilled. I can now easily do the three sets of 21 with the pink and even hold it for a count of 50. All these years I had periodically done Kegels but now I really doubt I was correctly isolating the right muscles. This device totally makes sense as it provides resistance training with immediate feedback. If you can close it, you're doing it right. I use a hand mirror to even work harder to close that last fraction down. My man and I are in a long distance relationship and I will be meeting him again in two weeks. I cannot wait to see if he notices any difference. I also hope to work up to the dark pink one very soon. I also looked at the Kegelmaster online and what a monstrous looking torture device that appears to be with springs, etc. I cannot imagine cleaning it and it looks dreadful. Trust me, even though these are just plastic you can easily feel the difference in strength between the two. They clean up super easy, are small and discrete and totally work. I wondered whether some of the Amazon reviews were paid because I saw the same reviews on other websites. I can tell you this is an honest review from an ordinary woman. I've had one child via C-section 13 years ago. My goal is to work up to the blue set ASAP.

I don't prefer this product. Easy to use but takes time and effort to use it. Not sure how well it works. I found luna pleasure beads on Amazon a few months later and love those. Luna pleasure beads work. You insert them and go about your daily routine. I have had the benefit of more toned muscles and now having orgasms easily. That wasn't the case before Luna Pleasure beads.

This device definitely helps you isolate the pelvic floor muscles. However, I don't know why whoever designed the product thought that it needed to be a plastic penis. It goes in smoothly enough but that not-so-little ledge created by the penile design is very uncomfortable upon removal if you don't apply a lot (and I mean A LOT) of lubricant. Also, it can pinch you if it gets even slightly sideways. For the price, it's a good product, but I'd probably buy something like the Jopen Intensity now.
