About H. William Taeusch
H. William Taeusch MD is a Professor emeritus of Pediatrics at the University of California-San Francisco where he conducted research on new treatments for lung injuries. The video shows pulmonary surfactant spread on a clean subphase as viewed by Brewster angle microscopy.
He received an MA from the Shaindy Rudoff creative writing program at Bar Ilan University in Israel. He's published numerous stories in literary journals some of which are collected in Learning the Game and in an anthology (Israel Short Stories). Both are available on Amazon. He lives with his wife in Jerusalem where he is at work on a series of novels involving the feckless Eli Kurz MD.
The first novel in the series, Baby Doe, was published in late February, 2021
