But everything else is good. Like the fabric, print, and stitching - all great.
They came in reasonably soon after ordering them.
There are no stickers/labels on the ones I received stating that they contain lead. Maybe it's only some colors. IF they do contain lead, I find it really difficult to believe that these would contain any amount of lead great enough to cause any harm to the wearer. Just don't eat them, wear them on your reproductive organs, or wear them for several weeks without removing them. You'll be fine.
They were very stiff at first, but after a few wears as headbands, they've softened up quite a bit. The person who said they'd take a lot of washings to soften up was being a bit of a diva. They started to soften just after being worn, and the one I washed softened up significantly. Just like a new pair of shoes, you gotta break 'em in.
For the price, they're all you can ask for. They work, they're cute, they're pretty sturdy. They are a bit on the thin side, but they're less than $2, obviously they're not going to be as thick as your favorite wool sweater.
Great for the price.
