ABOUT HABA

It all began in 1939 in Bad Rodach, Germany, with finely polished, colorful wooden toys, that were "finely sanded and polished wonderfully smooth, just right for tender children's hands," as the first catalogue emphasized. Today these blocks are still part of our product palate. But the factory for fine wooden toys has been transformed into "the producer of inventive playthings for inquisitive minds."

All products in the HABA range have one thing in common: our attention to detail makes each item special and unique. HABA wants to playfully support children's development, make their lives happier, more exciting, and full of the delight of discovery: to put it simply, to make their world a little more child-friendly.

A wide variety of HABA toys and games have been honored with awards for exceptional design. Since 1993, no fewer than six HABA games received the "Children's game of the Year" award.

This cute little toy has my 13 mths old happy as a clam! He carries around the little worm (the white face has a tendency to get dirty) and tries to play peek a boo with the apple. He can throw the "ball" too.

I assumed the "slices" would be velcro-ed together, but they close via pretty decent magnets.

All in all, way cute, and I wish I had bought it a few months ago, as I think he will easily outgrow it by the time he is 18mths old.

This toy is bright, large, and fun. It is an apple that has magnets to hold together, and when my little grandson opens it, out comes the worm. He loves the worm! A great toy and a good price.

My 6 month old son is really engaged with this toy. He is not yet aware that the worm is in the apple, but instead pulls it out by accident. Great toy!

This is the cutest baby toy I've seen. Great HABA quality, no loose threads or any piece misplaced. The apple opens and closes very easily. Baby gets the apple and the worm!
