    UPDATE: I had originally rated these a 3 because of the issue I had with the red & orange egg. However, the company contacted me and had wonderful customer service and completely resolved the issue. The replacement egg is fantastic and I think it was just a one-off with the first egg. Highly recommend!! My son absolutely loves them :) Thank you HABA!We have only had these for a month and the paint is already coming off which makes me worried the baby will ingest it :( bummed because these are actually really cool.

    Adorable little eggs for my little man who will be one year old just before Easter. All the sounds are really soft so they aren’t obnoxious. Thank goodness! Great toy for times when they want to make noise but you need them to be quiet. (Church, doctors office, restaurant)

    I originally thought there was a small flaw on the twistable egg because there was a small circle with no paint. When I reached out to HABA, they explained it was a purposeful part of the design to enable the egg to twist. They further explained that they put safety over esthetics when needed and I really appreciate that! Safety in toys is super important to this mama!

    So if a small circle on one egg with the natural wood showing through bothers you, you may want to find another product. Just know it is part of the design and not a flaw as I original thought it was. It also isn’t really a big deal, I was simply worried that if the paint had already come off in one spot it would continue to do so. However, if it is part of the design there is no need to worry about that.

    I love that these are wooden and very durable. I bought them for my granddaughter but she wasn't impressed. I think she is a bit too old for them at 22 months old. However, they are in my 'music' box and I can see them being used for generation. The sounds are soft and not obnoxious, but distinct. They are slightly larger than plastic Easter eggs that are used for egg hunts.

    I was very disappointed to see that this product is made in China. The quality is not the same as the HABA toys made in Germany. There is no attention to detail in the craftmanship of the eggs we got.
    My baby doesn't care though. As a toy it is very entertaining, but if you like top quality, I read in some reviews that the HABA eggs named "musical eggs" are the ones made in Germany.
