About the author

Jeremy is a Senior Security Researcher that has focused his profession around Red Team penetration testing, Computer Forensics, Open source Intelligence, and Cyber Warfare. Starting his career in 1995 Mr. Martin has worked with fortune 200 companies and Federal Government agencies, receiving a number of awards for service. Much of his work focuses on supporting military and law enforcement activities.
Outside consulting, he is an instructor and security researcher. As a cybersecurity instructor, he teaches for both businesses and governments across the globe. Mr. Martin’s current research projects include vulnerability analysis, threat profiling, exploitation automation, anti-forensics, open source intelligence gathering, reverse engineering, malware analysis, and SCADA/ICS/IoT security.
He started the Cyber Secrets program to teach cybersecurity and give awareness for cyber related issues ranging from hacking to forensics to enterprise security. www.CyberSecrets.org. During this process, he helped develop CSI Linux, a distribution to help Law Enforcement investigate cyber crime within a limited budget. OSINT, SOCMINT, SIGINT, and Darkweb investigations are just the tip of what CSI Linux is capable of. With a base case management system pre-built in, the evidence is stored and verified in an easy access location, giving anyone using it a head start while doing cyber forensics.
