About the Author
I reside in Central Florida with the wife and two daughters. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight, keeping Man alive. For some it was meant to be their calling. For others... not so much. All however are willing to fight until the end. Flip open one of my books. Tag along as unlikely heroes try to conquer the galaxy or save all humanity. Get aboard as you're either with us or against us. This may be your ticket out of here... at least for a short while. Hope you have a great day!

I read the entire eight-novel HADRON series in six days. I couldn't stop reading even when I needed more sleep. Being an engineer with a heavy military and scientific background, I really appreciated Stephen Arseneault's writing. I found it to be very believable and entertaining.
I was disappointed that this story read like a "B" movie, cheap Western movie screenplay or Flash Gordon episode. The space battles and shifting alliances are described much like the last book, and the staggering loss of life and materiel is oddly routine. I liked the double-crossing and deception and rescues, and the descriptions of the cute "hybrids" found at the birthing centers. However, I grew weary of the never-ending crises.
Great story. I'm broke and I keep on buying and reading. So it must be a good read! Good tech and expertly written story line. Character development is quick but also very descriptive. Check this series out.
A giant chess game is being played out with the humans as pawns. That is until we see the big picture. A whirlwind story that keeps you guessing the next step just to be surprised again and again. While earth and mankind will never be the same , is the galaxy ready for mankind and human endurance.
Getting a little confusing with all of the different species and who is on which side. I had to write them all down to keep them straight, but I still am enjoying this series immensely. Hope the next book in this series is out soon.
