when i saw this PSU with this value against price and i saw great reviews on the internet but not much because it's a new product for NZXT and their first PSU
so i said yeah lets try it..
the first impression i had with this PSU is WoW the white color with the the black grill/cables made it look really nice (I never saw a white PSU before)
I also bought corsair 500r for it was cheaper than now because it was white
and the black version cost 30$ more so i said Who cares about the color..
So I got all my part (i5 2500k,16gb Corsair, asus pro/gen3, hyper 212 evo, AMD asus 6970)
i got all the parts together and it worked perfectly(had some issues with the ram timing but few clicks in the bios fixed the problem)
First thing i did was OC the cpu and gpu after good stable test/stress i got the cpu to 4.7 and gpu to 1000 and this power supply was stable the whole time
Looks great (i love the white finish)
Very stable at high OC
Very long cables
5 years warranty
doesn't get hot compare to other products at high Voltage
Non i can think of right now but for now this PSU is a beast!
Buy this PSU if you know what you are doing.
While an attractive bargain $150 for 1k watts, I'm not certain that this product is made to the same specifications and rigorous quality that NZXT's cases are. Around a month ago I started to notice the computer freezing and lagging out at random intervals. I tested the RAM first, then reinstalled Windows, finally reseating the processor and all the power connections. As a last ditch effort I updated the bios on my mobo, where I noticed that the voltage on my RAM was lower than it was supposed to be and fluxuating greatly. A week later the unit died.
While I just submitted my RMA request, NZXT is known for less than responsive customer service and my previous interactions with them have shown me that it can be up to a month to recieve RMA replacements.
I really like NZXT's style and the quality of the cases they make, but I'd recommend sticking to more established brands when looking for power supply units.

I can't think of anything...buy it!
Cons: a bit Bulky.
I am so impressed with this power supply. It sounds like such a simple thing, but I've been using the stock power supply for my (old) Lenovo desktop. It was loud and underpowered. I recieved this yesterday and put it in as soon as I had the chance. Its a bit large and I had a little trouble getting it into the slot, also the nylon sleeves (although attractive) make the cords a bit bulky. Once it was in and screwed into place I hooked everything back up, turned the power switch to ON and booted up. There was a brief fan noise then nothing. I was worried that it hadn't turned on so I pushed it again, again the brief fan noise. Then I noticed the boot screen on my monitor. It was so quiet I actually couldn't hear it. I checked to be sure the fan was on and it was. Cool air was coming out of the vents. I left the computer on over night, and I think its fair to say that it runs VERY COOL. My original power supply would warm my room, this barely warms the computer. Also, it comes with a nice nylon pouch that has all the modular cables, none of which I have needed yet, but its nice to know that when I build my rig from scratch, I will have whatever I need.

Definitely worth a buy whether using their case or not.
