It's the hands down the BEST explosion of white stuff that ever graced your carpet! I sprinkle the baking soda around daintily on my carpet until it looks like a car filled with snow crashed and exploded onto my carpet. I let it sit for an hour (or 10 depending on if I forget that I did it and how ADD I am that day).

Then I vacuum this up with the SECOND BEST white thing that ever graced my carpet - my shark vacuum.

It gets the smell out of everything, including the THIRD BEST explosion of white stuff that has ever graced your carpet!

I've got a dog as well and she sheds like it's her freakin day job. This gets the dog smell right out as if you had just vacuumed your dog right up out of the room. I also throw one in the fridge because I don't need all of my food smelling like regret and forgotten leftovers. Do yourself a favor get some of this baking soda in your life.

Absolutely magical.

The price of this 3-pack of baking soda was high even when I thought I was getting the regular 32 oz boxes. But when they arrived and I saw they are tiny, 8-oz boxes. That makes the cost astronomical and ridiculous. But "this item is not eligible for return." So I am stuck with miniature boxes of overpriced baking soda. Shame on me for opting for the convenience of home delivery.

These are the smallest boxes of baking soda I’ve ever seen. These cost 5Xs the price of the grocery store. DO NOT BUY! They are a little bigger than a small box of raisins. Complete ripoff, cannot return.

This is the same product that we know and love but in mini form. If you’re expecting the standard 1 lb, this is actually half that at 8 oz. Since this comes in a 6 box set, basically you’re getting the equivalent of 3 standard boxes. What’s not so great is that you can get a 1lb box at Target for 79¢, so this product is way overpriced. I bought it in a hurry and didn’t do my research. 🙁

My Favorite for Carpets

This is my favorite product to sprinkle on our carpets prior to vacuuming. It really absorbs odors (we have a GSD who tracks in allergens, grass, and mud - and then there is her fur, dander & saliva which all create that 'dog' smell).

This baking soda completely eliminates odors, it won't discolor or stain the carpets, and it won't hurt our vacuum.

Other uses: put about a half cup of this in a small mason jar with a few drops of your favorite essential oil, shake it up and then drill some holes in the lid; keep it in a closet or behind your furniture for a cheap DIY air freshener.

Note - these boxes are smaller than the 'standard' fridge size, I suppose I should have read the description a bit closer.

The Baking soda arrived very quickly and in good condition. Thank you.

My husband and I used the baking soda to clean our silver serving utensils. (We found the cleaning DYI online where you use aluminum foil and baking soda and boiling water. BTW: This DYI worked extremely well. We were VERY happy with the results.)We were attempting to use some less toxic (and less expensive and more environmentally friendly) ways to clean.

Next time we order baking soda we will attempt to order the larger "normal" sized boxes of baking soda instead of the tiny 8 ounce boxes only because we hope to make use of the more natural baking soda soda cleaning solutions in other applications around our home and believe we will be using much larger quantities in the future. For smaller applications these cute little boxes would be great for most people.

We will be recycling the carboard boxes into our cardboard items recycling bin. To also reduce our carbon foot print.

The one hopeful (idealistic) suggestion I would make for the company mailing out this good product is a request that they (along with the rest of us) push for a way to mail products without using plastic mailers. I am learning that ALL plastics are terrible for our environment. If I hear of (or if you hear of) a better alternative please let us all know. Are plant fiber alternative plastics (that can be composted) a possibility?

However they are smaller than the containers i can buy art my local suppermarket for a 3rd of the price. These are way overpriced. Shame on you!
