Another beautiful story by Kathryn Shay! I first became intrigued by the Ludzecky sisters when they were introducted in Close To You. I was thrilled when she told the news of writing a book for each one of the Ludzecky sisters. And in true fashion...she hit a home run with each book. I was a little unsure of how I'd take to Sofia at first. She was into things that I know nothing of (yoga, vegetarian lifestyle). By mid book I couldn't stop reading. By the end, I was crying. Sofia has had it rough and when Max did what she asked him not to do...I wondered if he would be able to pull it together to win her back. This book had its funny spots (loved the Memorial Day picnic) and the sad spots. But in the end...Sofia won me over. I love the interactions between the main characters and her family. And really love when those O'Neils show up in cameos! Cannot wait until the next in the series comes out. If you've never read one of Ms. Shay's books...you are truely missing out!

I have read all the books about the Ludzecky sisters and the one about Luke Ludzecky. The books were realistic, entertaining and very well written. I'm a big fan of Kathryn Shay's writings. She is very talented and brings her characters to life; they seem very real.

I didn't warm up to Sofia much until reading this book. She was so quiet and self-contained that getting to know her was difficult. I knew she loved her family, did yoga, and was c@lm but not much else. This book revealed her fully and introduced us to Max, the coach. Chemistry off the chain!

Kathryn Shay has another great story with Sophia Ludzecky and Max Walker. They meet at the high school Max teaches at when Sophia agrees to teach yoga at the high school. As they begin to know each other, things heat up quickly but life has a way of interfering. Will that have a HEA?

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the fifth book in Ms. Shay's The Ludzecky Sisters series. I really suggest reading them in order. The large family is in each book and knowing the previous history helps to keep you from getting a little lost.
Handle With Care is the story of Sofia. She had leukemia as a child and her family has definitely treated her with kid gloves and worried about her endlessly. She's tired of it. She has used yoga to help her through hard times and is now a yoga instructor. Sofia is brought in to teach yoga to the local football team. First she has to convince Max, the coach, that they can benefit from it. Some pretty hilarious lessons for Max follow. He is really attracted to Sofia, but she takes her time warming up to him.
My favorite part of the book was when Max basically has to run the gauntlet of her family. She also has to survive a dinner with his mother and all his brothers--the brothers who had offended her previously. You've got to love family! This is a great read about family, love and surviving difficult times.

Handle with Care is the fifth book in the Ludzecky Sisters series by Kathryn Shay.
Sofia has learned to enjoy the simple things in her life since she survived having Leukemia as a teenager. Now owning and running her Yoga studio, spending time with her family and friends were the things that she thought were important in her life. She hasn't had a serious relationship in years and has found it difficult to trust anyone after her boyfriend dumping her when she was sick and needed him the most.
Max didn't want to believe that Sofia and Yoga could be anything that he and his high school athletes needed to improve on their sport, but soon Max was a believer. Something about Sofia and her life attracted Max more than he was willing to admit in the beginning, but he soon can't deny his feelings.
I'm definitely looking forward to reading the other books in this series and getting to know more about the Ludzecky family.

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
