This song has a horrible message. Teen drinking and smoking which devolves into teen pregnancy. The couple in the song then “gives up” everything because they have a kid. Like, you can go to college with a kid. It might be more work, but it can happen, especially with a supportive partner and good communication. It seems to say getting really drunk and having unprotected sex can be a good thing. It’s not. It never is.
