Welcome to HATCHBOX 3D Products Our engineered filament is here to help you stream your creative outlet, enabling you to see your thoughts and concepts engineered into a real and rewarding reality. The filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D Printers using 1.75mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.05mm. PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates HATHCHBOX 3D Printer's PLA, making this material more earth-friendly. Because of the lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filaments retain their color vibrancy and are a common choice for displays or small household prints. The 3D printed object will have a glossy type finish with we love it: Less warping Easy to use No heated bed required Eco-friendly.

Update: Their customer service contacted me and offered another spool or a refund. That's awesome. It good to have a product that is backed up by the seller.
Every time I make a print the base layer is very difficult to remove from the actual print. I have not run into this issue before. I've tried to leave on the heated bed and tweak various settings but they never seem to help. This PLA just doesn't want to separate. It's not s huge deal but it's still annoying and I'm having to use my dremel to smooth down all the plate side edges. Otherwise it's a great product.
Printing on a Flux 3DP at 215º
The perfect temperature I have found to be 210c although it works from 195c-220c for extrusion. I set my heated bed to 60c but have also had good adhesion between 55c-70c.
This filament is odorless, i left a roll out for over 6 months and amazingly had no moisture problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this filament for beginners and those in advance printing very forgiving. Also acetone has no effect on this brand of pla for smoothing.
Excellent Filament! Haven't had any issues with it what so ever.
Prone to the standard warping issues. Typical PLA.
Oxidizes over time. Didnt cause problems with my prints though so what ever.
Standard Printrbot hot end will start to plasticize this plastic at 165 - 170c and will print great at 185c!
E3D V6 will plasticize this plastic at 180c and will print great at 210c. Not sure why the difference.
Would be cool if it had a black matte finish.
