I came across the HD Diet book looking for my dieting "Salvation", and I think I found it.
Great book,readable and upbeat.The chapter on "Excusitis" addresses my dieting problem.
I am the one that "finds exercise boring" and "my wife is a great cook" and therefore devour everything
in front of me and I admit,does not exercise. The first chapters was educational and held my interest,
I finished the book in one sitting. I am impressed with the HD Diet.
I read many of the "In" diet books and have been a perpetual dieter for years.
I was ready for a new approach for shading these 20 extra pounds. It seems to me that the HD diet can solve
the main problem that causes me to fail,Hunger. As an "expert" on dieting and follower of various
"diets trend" diet books,I discovered that this one promotes a totally new concept.
It is simple and make sence,fill your stomach with water absorbent foods and eliminate hunger pains,that's it.
I gave it a trial by adding Chia seeds to my breakfast cereals and I couldn't believe it,
I wasn't hungy till late afternoon. This is the type of diet I was looking for.
I like the fact that you can eat all food categories (especially meats, my weakness)
as long as you follow the HD Diet guidelines (the HD iPhone App is great for that,
I tried it,it is simple and easy to use) and which the book clearly delineate in Chapter 2.
The Case studies presented throughout the book keep your interest and give it an element of a thriller,
which inticed me to read further.
They make the HD Diet book readable and inspirational.
I am on day number three and will keep you posted on my progress.

The HD Diet is a masterfully-written work with credability, creativity, and an inviting tone. Keren takes each step necessary to guide the reader through transitioning to a healthier lifestyle, and she explains each component thoroughly. She describes this way as a LIFESTYLE rather than a "diet" that you stick to and then ditch. You will not want to ditch this diet.

The ways of HD have been in my life for 4 years now. I have worked with Keren personally and I am never going back to my old ways. I now treat my body with respect by putting in the proper nutrition it needs. To accompany the healthful eating, I adopted a fitness lifestyle. Keren's plan compliments my fitness like no other. I have the energy to complete my workouts 6 days a week, with a full time job, and a tight schedule (as I'm sure you all have!)

You will change your life in the long-term if you decide to adopt the ways of this book. Listen carefully to the lessons Keren teaches. This is not about fads, starving yourself, or eating "special" diet foods. This is about eating whole hydrophillic foods that will keep you content throughout the day. I am forever changed because of Keren and her healthy ways! Thanks Keren!!

Not to mention, her recipes are to die for! I eat oatmeal with berries EVERY DAY. I learned to ditch the sugar in my coffee. I drink green tea. I use the vegetable soup recipes and Shiritake noodles each week when I prep my meals!

This is not a quick-fix or something that happens overnight, which is the beautiful thing. You will adopt a lifestyle journey and discover what you like, what works for you... and when you ONE DAY discover that you have made your health your biggest priority, you'll never go back.

I am not a big believer in diet books, but the HD Diet is truly a lifestyle that I believe in whole-heartedly, and have lived by since reading the book. I have never felt better physically and emotionally, and find I am hardly ever feeling hungry. In fact, I feel satiated all day long and in control of my appetite. Thank you Keren for sharing this lifestyle with me and teaching me to live in HD! I have encouraged my daughters to read your book and have recommended it to many of my friends. I'm giving this diet 5 stars because I believe it's a healthy way to lose weight and then continue. However, it's a lot of work, especially for someone who cooks for herself and doesn't really like to cook. I lost weight the one week I was on it, but stopped because it was just too much preparation.
