Fits very well in your hand
Good battery life
Keyboard is ridiculously moody keys occasionally stop working then as if by magic add extra letters to what you are typing like some kinda electronic ouiji board
Touch pad hardly responds and wen it does the movement speed is quite slow and don't even think about multi finger use
What it does that I like - if you have a device that has a typical USB port, it will work on it. I have a small tablet that does have a keyboard it can attach to, but it's large. Which is great when I'm just using it as a laptop. But, if I go somewhere that doesn't have room for a full size keyboard, and a keyboard would make my job easier, this works perfect. I'm a system admin, so this happens frequently. It really does make things easier.
What it doesn't do that I wish it did - I wish it had a blue tooth option, so I could use it on many more items. The smaller devices that you really want it for usually don't have a USB port on them.
Everything I did attach it to, tho, it worked fine for me. The touchpad that provides right click and scroll options, it is a little moody but I rarely had issues with it. Just noticeable because it was where I had the most failure. I didn't have any problems with any of the actual keys not working.
There are several redundant keys as another reviewer stated. I don't know if that's just because a mouse is used so often that they wanted to make sure the controls were anywhere that anyone could prefer them. They're not really a problem, they don't get in the way or anything, just not sure why there are so many of them.
It's sturdy, it charged quickly for me.Read more ›
#1 - This is NOT A BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD, it's a mini WIRELESS keyboard without Bluetooth connectivity. It connects to devices via the included USB receiver. If you've used a wireless mouse or keyboard before (one that comes with a USB receiver), it works in the same exact way!
#2 - Even though it is wireless and doesn't connect via Bluetooth, you can still connect it to most mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) via a USB port (if the device has one) or a OTG cable. I'm including a picture of an OTG cable that I already had. Basically, it's a short cable where one end is a micro-USB port (that plugs into your mobile device) and the other end is a FEMALE USB PORT. Meaning, you can plug USB devices into it (including the USB receiver for this keyboard), as opposed to the male ones that plug into something else.
My desktop computer doesn't have Bluetooth functionality, so this keyboard is great for me since it uses the USB receiver to connect. I've successfully used it on my desktop computer, which has Ubuntu/Linux installed, and it works just fine. It's very handy when I'm away from my desk (often cleaning or straightening up), yet want to control the video or music player on my desktop. It saves me the trouble of having to go all the way back over to my computer to use the default keyboard.
I've also used this on my husband's Xbox One, our Android TV box, and my Samsung Android tablet - all without issue!Read more ›
The best feature is the fact its RF (radio frequency) as opposed to infrared because it doesn't require line of sight to the receiver like a typical remote. I don't have to aim it at the box and it doesn't matter when the box is blocked by random objects our kids place on the TV stand. We also love that its back-lit so we can easily see all the keys in the dark. The "time out" is too quick, but reconnects fairly quickly and is very responsive. The short time out is good for the battery life, so its worth the trade-off. It would be nice to have a slider (multi position switch) to choose your own time out length though.
Our similar, yet older remote has micro USB for charging as opposed to mini USB that this remote has. This one is more convenient since it's a more common plug and we have multiple extra charging cords that will work with this. This remote also has a removable battery that can be replaced when it dies unlike the older version. The battery is 810 mAh (milliamp hours) which is great since that's pretty robust for a small keyboard that isn't particularly battery intensive.
We switch between the remotes whenever one needs to be charged. The HDE remote has built-in receiver storage so we don't have to worry about the receiver getting lost when not in use. The whole concept of the keyboard remote is significantly more convenient over any basic remote. It has more functions, it's easier to use, and with all the added features of an Android TV box, being able to type out words rather than navigating an on screen keyboard is fairly essential.Read more ›

Works well right out of the box. IMO it goes to sleep too quickly so you need to hit a key to wake the device, then it responds. A bit annoying but does save on battery. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Amazon Customer
Worked on one tv but not the second. I did find it nice to be able to type in names into search for shows vs. the hunt and peck of the tv remote. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Richard D Mccombs
