These cinnamon sticks have been a real life saver in the office when it comes to making coffee. Everyone does not prepare coffee the same way and it tends to be bitter or burnt tasting. If I make the coffee, I put a couple of sticks of this cinnamon in the top brewing process. If someone else makes it and the brew is just starting, I run and get a couple of sticks and drop them into the coffee beans at the top. If I miss the process altogether, I take a stick or two an drop them into the coffee pot with the freshly brewed coffee. I find the coffee much easier to drink if I don't have to wince every time I take a sip. The cinnamon sticks seem to take the edge off and give the coffee a smooth ending. Also, If I purchase any type of iced coffee on the way to work, when I get to my desk, I drop in a couple of cinnamon sticks and let them soak in a bit by stirring (Macchiato, Lattes...). What I learned about cinnamon is that it gives you natural energy that does not feel jittery. I have not tried the cinnamon sticks in any of my hot tea yet but I know it will be quite flavorful

I would not but these cinnamon sticks, they smell nothing g like cinnamon, they have a faint chemical smell. I was looking forward to getting these, I make tea with them. Not sure I want to drink tea made out of these. Too bad. Don't buy if you're going to use for culinary.
