The trendy HEX watchband comes in nine colors, allowing you to express yourself. The color-matched buckle lets you adjust the size for the perfect fit, while the band features a textured surface for a sophisticated look.
Built-In Buttons and Audio Port for Convenience
Volume and on/off buttons are built into the side of the band's frame, making it easy to control your iPod. These controls also work to protect the buttons of your nano by blocking dust or liquids.
Additionally, the side of the frame features a cover that safeguards your nano's audio jack when you are not using your headphones.
Protect Your iPod
With the HEX watchband, you never have to worry about your iPod falling out of your pocket or getting lost in the bottom of your bag. The bendable silicone case snugly surrounds your nano, and its double-gasket design keeps your iPod secure. The silicone repels water on the sides, and the case helps to keep the back of your mp3 player scratch free.

My only complaint is that the colors look somewhat pale in comparaison to what you would expect them to look like. I wish they were more saturated instead of pastel-like colors...
I use the Nike + iPod Sport Kit (NEWEST VERSION) [Retail Packaging], however I cannot use this during my runs because the port to connect the wireless sensor is blocked off. Nonetheless some of you will like this because it makes the watch a bit more waterproof, however if you would like to use your iPod with the Nke + iPod Sport Kit I would recommend the HEX HX1005-BLCK Sport Watch Band for iPod Nano Gen 6 (Black).
I was considering a more expensive watch band that i saw but didnt like that it left the open ports open and was worried that debris would get into the holes and mess my nano up. I also wanted to be able to take it out of the watchband easily without having to unscrew anything so i could hook it up to my sound dock.
so i finally came across the Hex band and it had everything i was looking for. nice styling, covered the ports, easy to take in and out of the band, and it was less expensive than the bands i had seen. It was everything i was looking for!
As for comfortability the plastic material used isn't rough and is quite smooth and soft against the skin and was unnoticeable as far as wear against my skin after consecutive days of prolonged use wearing it, the only issue with prolonged use it the hex shaped honeycomb pattern on the straps of the watch are semi-prone to getting dirt in them making the white look gray and its a little difficult to get it completely clean again.
As for usability, its only decent. The closing headphone jack is great when there aren't headphones in the iPod but the fact it only works for flush fit cables like the stock iPhone earphones is a bit of a problem if your earphones or auxiliary cables aren't a slim for factor or flush insertion.
The single major complaint about the watch is the fact it has to be removed in order to be charged or synced.
For me personally that's a hassle because I had been using my iPod with another watch case that had the 15-port slot exposed in order to be able to wear it with one of those dime sized sony blutooth dongles plugged into it for use with blutooth headphones and my blutooth stereo. Due to that this watch is only usable for appearance for me as its not functional to use with most headphones or as a blutooth device
Durable neoprene - I only wear this when cycling. I ride between 70-100 miles a week in the Arizona heat. It hasn't dried out or cracked. And it stands up to the sweat I produce. Very durable.
Comfortable - I don't even know I'm wearing it when I ride.
Protection - it covers everything expect the screen and a small round circle on the back of the iPod.
Design - I like the placement of the headphone port. It is on the side to allow the headphone cable to run up your arm to your shirtsleeve. The watch band is big enough for a big buy like me, yet small enough that it will fit a smaller person too. I started at 361 pounds and it fine fine. I am down to 255 pounds and it will still go smaller.
Cons (more like a wish list):
#1 - I wish it had a cutout of the charging port. I ride my bike long enough that when I a done, I need to recharge the iPod. I ride 3-6 times a week. So I always have to remove the iPod from the watch band to charge it. It would be nice to have a cutout so I could charge without removing the device. But then the structural integrity might be compromised. The advantage to not having the cutout is that the charging port is not exposed to the elements. So I get the logic in the design. And I can live with it.
#2 - There is a cover for the headphone jack, again to keep debris out of the port. I get it and I can live with it. But with my first watchband, this jack cover ripped because I have to remove the device to charge it so often.Read more ›

Band is huge! Way too big for my wife's wrist when it's at the smallest setting. And the iPod fits quite loosely inside. She only used it twice. Highly disappointed.Published 27 days ago by Wj41978

Although it may seem pricey compared to most third party Nano bands, this is the best I've had! Looks and feels high end and fits most wrists. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Amazon's Anyonymous
I love how easy it it is to get the Nano in and out of the watchband. I had bought another style and three of us together couldn't figure out how to get it in. Read morePublished 12 months ago by Patty
