We ordered these to replace existing nozzles that drizzled oil around the sides of the stopper, rather than just out the spout. We ordered these due to the good ratings. They work well, but the cork diameter is not the same as for small oil bottles - maybe 1/2" or 9/16". It is for wine bottles. I am guessing they have an opening of 5/8" or 11/16" diameter. So only the very tip of these would stick into the bottles. Since only the tip of these fit in, they wouldn't fit under the shelf in our cupboard. So I took these out to my shop sander and sanded down the cork until they fit perfectly.

I like the cork, and I like the hinge on top. I like the amount dispensed....great for olive oil. However, they only fit certain bottles. I've had them be too small, and too large, depending on the bottle.

While these work fine, I'm a bit disappointed as I contacted the company before ordering asking their country of origin. I got a quick reply of Germany. Yeah! But wait, when they arrived yes, of course, they are made in China. I contacted HIC via my original email nicely braying my disappointment and their reply was ... crickets, that's all I heard was crickets.

Before purchasing this set of 2 pourers I had used the plastic, ill-fitting kind that were cheap and a waste of money. These pourers are metal with real cork inserts that fit snugly into bottles and have hinged lids. The best part for me was getting them in just two days with Prime free shipping. If you're looking for pourers, this is the way to go.

It does what is advertised. Fit our olive oil bottle just fine. We wanted replacements cause our original bottle had flimsy plastic topper with an aluminum spout which always leaked out the side when tipped over. These have solved our problem!

I would definitely buy these again, but I suspect they are made well enough that there will be no need. They are perfect for olive oil and vinegar bottles--there's a little flap on the tip that opens and closes; the cord insert fits snugly. Great buy!

I purchased these to replace the poor plastic inserts that came with my glass oil dispenser. The one that came with it leaked, which is why I got these. They work, and so far they don't leak.

Cons: the way in which they poor is a little inconsistent. Sometimes it comes out at a good speed, but sometimes it just poor so SLLOOOOOOOOOOWWW.

Would I recommend? yes!

These small pourers with cork are used in small bottles that are filled with liquid dishwashing soap and they look great on the kitchen counter. Every once in a while they get plugged up and all I do is remove the insert and rinse it in hot water. There are endless uses for these using various types of bottles and the liquid of your choice.
