Model: HOKA ONE ONE Men's ORA Recovery Slide 2 Sandal
Plush density, insole: 9.5
Pool and beach: 9
Dress up: 6
Dress down: 9
Pros: Comfortable and versatile therapeutic recovery shoe.
Cons: Bands are a little weak and may break with use.
While they're completely unwearable for me, I can appreciate the ergonomic efforts in how cushiony/curved these sandals are. I'd kill for a version of these with heel support, so that I could actually wear them. I was hoping these would be the sandals I needed to be able to walk around the house with minimal pain, but I guess I'll have to settle for Crocs slippers.
The shoe has a high arch, and that makes this sandal unstable for me. It is usable only if I wear a thick sock - not my intent when I purchased it. A 10 "might" work, but I have no way of knowing and frankly I don't want to waste my time experimenting.
I wear a 12-12.5 for I ordered a 13.
High arch supports kill me and my high instep prevents me sliding my feet into most varieties of slides and sandals.
This slides works. It's a bit expensive but if it lasts and doesn't wear out in 6 months to a year I'll be happy.
