Sold my dual modded Hori Fighting Edge and old RAP3 (with Sanwa buttons) to make way for this as new gen stick. I regret nothing. I feel right at home with the amazing Hayabusa stick and I personally am not going to swap the Kuro out for Sanwa. Design is simple and clean #shoutoutstokingdomhearts. Suuuper light-weight and surprisingly small dimensions but base is still solid and strong. The sideskirts are thinner than I expected so I'm not going to be holding it by one skirt anytime soon. Cable compartment is now (finally) massive which is great. - The product box and documents really are in Japanese - No underside foam/slip pads -- only four rubber stumps - No tournament mode - "4" means PS4, "3" means PS3. Honestly confused the hell out of me, so hope that helps someone starting off

This stick is a cheap piece of crap, hori massively disappointed me as their past products were of a higher quality. This stick is hard to mod, and trust me you need to mod this garbage product. The joystick is loose leading to errors in input and the buttons feel like hard cheap plastic with input delay.

Definitely going to switch to madcatz because hori messed up big time.

needs English instructions....Product seems like it would solve the problems I have with regular controllers with my hands, but I have issues using it. I am not a big gamer due to the issues I have with my hands so I am not a big gaming person. With that said, I would've probably given a better rating if the instructions where in English on the use of the controller.

This arcade stick is extremely solid, but not what I would consider perfect. I'll be honest, this was my first arcade stick and I am primarily a Mortal Kombat X Player. I didn't have too many issues learning the stick, and it felt pretty good at first, but over time I found that I just really did not like the buttons. The joystick is absolutely fantastic though. Out of the box, this is a good arcade stick in my mind. I like it, it's good, but I would not call it PERFECT.

I've had this stick for several months and had no issues that were not preference based. I love that the stick includes a touchpad for any PS4 games that may need it (MKX being one of them). Some minor complaints:

I don't like the cable door
I wish that custom artwork was easier to install
    Buttons got uncomfortable over time
Wish modding was a bit easier

Ultimately, I decided to replace the buttons with Sanwas (as many players recommend) and I found that I MUCH prefer the Sanwa feel, the buttons seem to be more responsive and even have faster action. I also like that my Sanwas (purchased from Focus Attack) are less glossy than the stock Kuro buttons. After unscrewing the 6 or so screws in the bottom of the controller, swapping buttons was basically plug and play.

I also decided that I would like to use an octagonal gate and the combination of an octagonal gate with the Hayabusa joystick made my execution INFINITELY better in Guilty Gear Xrd. Unfortunately, getting the octagonal gate to fit required a hardware mod on the gate. I had to drill additional holes which wasn't a big deal, just a bit inconvenient.

I would for sure recommend this to someone who wanted to get their first arcade stick for PS4. The modifications I made are far from ESSENTIAL, but they did improve my personal experience and required very little effort.

One of the better sticks I've purchased. Hori's parts they switched to are right on part with the Sanwa buttons/joystick you get with TEs imo. Easy to mod and work with to swap out parts if you wish to. My only real complaint is the stick and buttons are pretty close together so that might be harder on people who have gotten used to holding arcade sticks a certain way, more so than other models. All around a solid stick, fine replacement to my Hori fighting edge.

    Highly recommend.

Really great piece of tech. By far my favourite piece I own. Only thing i would change is having a headset jack so you dont have to run 2 profiles to chat with friends while using the fight stick. Unless there is an alternative method of doing so withiut the use of bluetoothed headset(my ps4 has issues with bluetooth for some reason) headset difficulties aside its a great piece of kit and i recomend it highly!
