Top customer reviews
-Beautifully large 23" HD screen
-Has an adjustable stand/prop to change viewing angle for shorter/taller people
-It can handle gaming pretty good (Minecraft is all i play)
-Comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse that are both connect with 1 USB receiver
-Awesome integrated webcamera
-Very fast snappy response to opening applications etc...
-Has 2 USB 3.0 (high speed USB) ports on the side(which i use for my external HDD)
-Not a sophisticated time consuming setup, took me about 10 minutes from opening the box to actually playing with it(installing apps etc.)
-The fan is on the top in the center (blows hot air upward) which is nice if you are putting it in a closed desk type area
-The picture for this computer being displayed is incorrect, if you scroll down and open/download the PDF(?) file it has the real picture and all the details as well
-It was shipped within the stated time frame but it came in a larger box that only had this thick paper type stuffing and the main computer box was able to move around which i really didn't like at all. But the box holding the computer had fitted foam like plastic allowing shock resistance which made me feel a lot better.
-It doesn't come with Beats audio as displayed by the keyboard in the PDF file image (has the red B logo instead of the regular B) but i can survive without it
-When it does actually start to access the internal HDD, you can hear it read data(move the disk)which isn't an issue if you have a little music playing
-The power button lights up white when it's turned on, which isn't an issue during the day but at night when you go to sleep its like having a damn flashlight on. So i just cover it with a shirt or something!
-One thing i ended up not liking is the mouse, since i play minecraft the computer needs to handle lots of data usage like loading hills etc.. but the mouse like to lag a lot and it does get frustrating, but hey if you can afford the computer you can probably get a cheap gaming mouse.
-Pretty awesome computer for the price with minimal cons and issues. Im 100% happy with the product and hope you will be to. (^__^)
Borrow or get acess to a computer with Windows 8 installed. Be certain you like it. I tried it and did not like it at all. Microsft assured me that they could reinstall windows 7 on line with no problem. What followed was a nightmare of hours on the phone, misguided instructions and believe it or not, the complete messing up of my computer, including a loss of files. I had to get HP to come to the house and try to fix things and they could not even reformat the drive. The computer has been sent to the factory for repair. I am still waiting and trying to get Microsoft to share the expense I have undergone. MY FAULT FOR NOT BEING SURE ABOUT WINDOWS 8, BUT NOT MY FAULT ABOUT THE RESULTS.
