I was scared this desktop would not be enough to handle the new games like Battlefront II, and other first person shooters, but it’s PERFECT!The setup of a solid state hard drive, 8GB of RAM and GTX 1060 (3GB), and 400W power supply (yes, it’s enough wattage), handles every single game I threw away it and no freezing!I haven’t had a gaming system in a while, except an HP Omen laptop I purchased two years ago and it wouldn’t play the most basic current games, kept freezing on Starcraft II and battlefront II ON THE LOWEST SETTINGS.Now I can play all blizzard games on highest settings and battlefront II on high (I tried it on the highest and it would play, but I’m overly careful, so I went back down)For what kind of system this is and the price, I haven’t seen anything come close to the value and I shoppped around for a year.Anyways, I attached some pictures of the guts and packaging to give you a REAL feel for what you are buying. I noticed there wasn’t much, so I hope it helps others.Keep the gaming hobbies alive yal! Cheers!

Despite an unfortunate incident of being sent the wrong computer initially. ( I have to stop here and say Amazon is the best at fixing things like that. Once I realized I had been sent the wrong comp ,which took a few days since it didn't occur to me to check the comps specs when I opened it. One online chat with CS and they 1 day shipped the correct model to me. Then sent me a UPS return label to return the other computer . I can't think of anything they could have done to make the correction more easy)
So now I have the computer I ordered and am very pleased. Setup was easy. Not a lot of junk programs. The box is smaller than I expected, very quiet and plays everything with no problems. For the price I am pleasantly surprised at the speed and video.

I've had serious issues with HP and their products and services before but only as a child so for whatever reason I figured it can't still be that bad. Boy was I wrong. I've had serious boot issues since 3 months and can't seem to get passed another system recovery with one of their techs before they hang up. at this point I think I know what the issue is but no one will even listen to me. They just want me to shell out $200 dollars for an extended warranty. "In case the issue persists past the warranty date" Maybe you'll have a better chance but I won't buy another HP product if they were the last tech company on Earth.

Excellent system for the most part. Got this for better photo and video editing, and it's pretty quick. My only complaints are probably more my fault. I didn't realize the system was installed on the SSD, or that my old LCD monitor wouldn't connect to it. It filled up after installing Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and a few more workflow apps. Had to reinstall everything to the HDD and buy a tv to use as a monitor. Other than that, it is a quiet, snappy desktop, I dig it.

Runs so quiet, I thought it was broken at first, but the main issue is when using HDMI I was connecting to the ports HDMI 1 and 2, however there are some unlabeled HDMI ports above. I think maybe previous reviews mentioning it won't boot were having this issue so make sure to try all the HDMI ports if this is how you plan to connect. Anyhow I play GTA 5, SL, and LoL all of these games work great on ultra settings. Also the 16 RAM really makes a difference when running several apps, no more freezing when running multiple programs.

Also support was amazing in resolving the problem, even though it was my fault for plugging into the wrong HDMI ports they made sure to resolve the problem without need to reach back out.

I gotta say, it's a beautiful product, set up was so smooth and felt so fast. But after I turned it off the first time, it never came back on again. Currently trying to get a refund, I think there's a reason it has such good specs for such a low price

Purchased this for my son. I'm not a gamer, so I can't rattle off specs or performance details. But I think it's a good gaming PC based on the fact that he hasn't left the game room or checked his instachat or snapagram in two days. When I asked him how fast it was, he first said "I can play Rust on the highest level graphics with no lag!" When I asked him to translate that into something a parent would understand, he said "geez dad, I dunno, like faster than getting diarrhea after eating Taco Bell?" I'm guessing it's fast.

Great pc does everything I hoped it would do as far as gaming! Although if your thinking about buying this you will have to upgrade the power supply... two days into having this my hard drives gpu and processor slowed tremendously I switched out the power supply for a 500w and now have no problem playing and multitasking the way I want! Just a heads up!!!

It's decent out of the box but I upgraded it a good bit. I added a 2tb hdd, 24gb of ram, and a 1tb nvme ssd to replace the 256gb ssd it came with. It now plays titanfall 2 and battlefield V flawlessly. According to the hp website the CPU can be upgraded to a core i7 8700 and I'm fairly certain it will handle a gtx 1070 gpu

Edit: installed a PNY nvidia GeForce gtx 1070 founder's edition and it works great, fit right in the case.
