Put yourself in my shoes. June 9,2011, the day it crashed HP had me on the phone for three solid hours going through the long distance fixes, passing me from team member to team member, not once getting past the hard drive fatal error message. I won't belabor the phone conversations that finally led them to realease me from India back to America. Ben in America informed me that Suresh in India was wrong in telling me that it would take 2 weeks to get a working computer back to me, that he was an expert and that he could assure me that my computer would be back within seven working days, but usually it's more like 5.
Next I recieve an e-mail from HP verifying my address and telling me the computer is scheduled to be sent back to me June 20th. That was yesterday, no computer, instead a phone call from India, at 6pm informing me that due to a backlog at repairs, the computer was now scheduled to be sent out sometime around July 4th.
Thank you HP for providing me with a total pre dinner melt down.Read more ›
My one complaint? This is my first touch screen computer, and it hadn't occured to me that the problem with a touch screen is that if you own cats (I do) and your cats are in the habit of curling up on the desk beside the computer (mine are), they may bump the screen and seriously mess up whatever you're doing (example: accidentally pausing or unpausing a film I'm viewing). Obviously, this is a defect with the cats, and not with the computer . . . but pet-owners or parents of small children should be advised that the touch screen adds an additional opportunity for little monkeys or furballs to interfere with your work. You'll have to decide whether you think it's worth the irritation. I don't regret the purchase, despite that minor setback.
Cons- It froze on me once
- Wakes up from sleep mode
- Discs are a little hard to get in
Pros- Amazing Screen
- Great Speakers
- Great Keyboard & Mouse
- Fun Touchsmart Software
Pro allin one design and lots of ways to hook it up for multimedia uses so it can double as a computer for work and entertainment source.
cons only two usb prots and need one for the keyboard dongle. This can be fixed pretty easily with a usb port spliter. Also it a noisy when processing things

Stay away from this device. You will never use the touch screen and it is a shame to pay for it. Difficult to upgrade as it all stands in one box.Published on November 27, 2013 by Ciapi
