These are good plastic frame glasses that block all light through the lenses. Viewing the Sun with them is the only thing you can see - That's good! The Sun appears yellow not red, blueish green as with some filters. I have black poly filter which shows red and goggles which look green.
These are mirror front on black plastic lenses. The kids love them for looking at the Sun because they are "cool."
I wish they had safety side shields to cut out side light down but then that's what the goggles are for.
