Yes, I know Sennheiser has a wireless version of their Momentums but I couldn’t justify buying a newer one when my current gen 1 pair still works just fine. I got a 2.5mm to 3.5mm aux converter with a 6” 3.5mm cable to use with this Bluetooth receiver and it has been working great so far. The battery life has been good, I was using it on and off for 2+ hours and only used 20% of the battery. Connecting to my iPhone was easy and I was surprised to find out that I can see the battery life of my headphones on the phone widget. Really like that it is a usb-c charger. And the device itself is pretty light and small so it doesn’t look bulky. I also had no issue connecting to my Nintendo switch - you don’t need to buy one to transmit to your headphones anymore.I will update if I have issues but so far so good.

This little adaptor is AWESOME. I use it for many different solutions in my house and car. It's got both a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver. Matter of fact, if you had 2 of this product, you can have them talking to each other, one as a transmitter, and the other as a receiver. There's hardly any latency, and the sound is crystal clear.

My latest use for this product is to pair it with my Bluetooth ear buds, and plug it into a police scanner. The police scanner never had any Bluetooth capability before. But it does now with the help of this product.

For those using this for the first time, it will be in Receiver mode when you first star using it. You have to flip it to Transmitter mode if you want to use it as a transmitter. Read the instructions for more info.

I bought it to transmit via Bluetooth from a police scanner to headphones or my pc (to play through my pc speakers)

Never was able to have any device see this when trying to pair when this unit is in transmit mode.

It did get found and was able to pair with it being in receive mode as if it were wireless headphones.
I have no use for it as a receiver though. My need is to see it as the transmitter

I liked it because it was so small and wouldn't add a wired device hanging off my radio.
    But no joy!

edit - I have the regular X2 version, not the X2 PRO-RTS. My review is currently mislabeled.

This review only applies to transmit mode. I haven't tried receive mode.

This is my third bluetooth transmitter around the house. The others work fine but this one has a little better range, cuts out less, and the form factor is more convenient.

At 20 feet line-of-sight it's perfect. I tested the same distance in the next room, through a wall, and still no problem. A lot of these reviews seem misleading because connection depends in part on your headphones (or speaker, etc.) and interference in the area.

It supports aptX Low Latency with no issue. Some reviewers don't understand that latency depends on your device's specs. If your headphones don't support aptX-LL, you won't get it. Both devices need to support it.

It controls like every other bluetooth transmitter I've used. There's a single button to turn it on/off. You just hold it a couple seconds. To enter pairing mode, you keep holding the button until the light flashes quickly. As I said I haven't tried receive mode but there's a second button to toggle between modes. Blue light means transmit, green light means receive. There are instructions in the box despite what another reviewer said.

I've found that if your headphones don't like to connect, just enter pairing mode every time and it works better. That goes for all these cheap bluetooth transmitters. Bluetooth is a horrible technology that should fade into history so don't expect too much.

It's very loud. It amplifies the sound quite a bit. As for quality, I'm not an audiophile and I don't generally use it for music, but it sounds good to me. It's a bit light on bass tones. If you're listening through a $30 bluetooth transmitter you're probably not an audiophile anyway.

The "bendy" feature doesn't work very well. If I bend it 90 degrees it snaps back to about 45 degrees (see picture). It doesn't work like the promo picture.

I mentioned expectations above and that's most important. if you calibrate expectations appropriately I think you'll be satisfied with this product. Bluetooth transmitters are always a little janky, like using electronics from 2005, but this one gets the job done for me.

Best bluetooth transmitter I've used, which isn't saying a lot, but I recommend it

I use this to transmit audio from a small portable sequencer/synthesizer. There is a bit of latency but it is fine for producing. Maybe djing or doing stuff that requires a tight sync would be an issue. But for me it does the job. The build is nice and it seems flexible. The Bluetooth pairing is a breeze.

I got this to hopefully be able to use Bluetooth headphones with my oculus and the lag is still very noticeable. Not worth the money
  • Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2022
The product seems nice overall but the audio lag was significant. I couldn't use it for my intended hopes of a bluetooth/wireless in-ear monitoring connection. Probably would work well for anything that a lag in the audio isn't a problem for.

This is the second version of this that I've had. It starts to short out the headphone jack and won't transmit the sound. Trying another brand.
