Love the historical information, hate the political vomit

Very good information and perspective of factual events and historical occurrences. Yet, the political drivel and liberal bile shoved into the face of the reader is very disappointing. Keeping up with the liberal stereotype of labeling and insulting people who just don't agree, the author take several liberties at attacking white women for having a diverse vote. 50% voted for Clinton, 53% voted for Trump. Thus educated author than proceeded to assume that the women voted for Trump for racist reasons rather than political ones. Now I would expect this foolishness from a cashier at Walmart but a PHD? I'm a American 37 yr graduate of UC Berkeley, Applied Mathematics and I voted for Trump twice for policy reasons. The fact that 94% of any group would vote one way is disturbing in itself and is frustrating that most black women, even the educated ones, do not understand that basic principle. With all the historical references, it's a wonder that Dr. Person didn't draw the parallel of the astonishingly racist history of the democratic party. I mean the KKK, planned parenthood, the great society, redlining, the crime bill..etc.. all liberal policies that have destroyed the black community and turned it to what you see today, war zones, 80% out of wedlock births, and on and on. Disappointing to say the least, what could have been a great conversation has turned into finger pointing nonsense based off of CNN and mainstream media programming.

Mean spirited and made heavy use of out dated stereotypes not just of white women but of black women as well. Some things were spot on and factual, but the fragmented way the information is presented is distracting and surely can’t cover up the shortcomings of the book overall. Very disappointed in this book. It’s a waste of time and money honestly.
