About Hakan Butuner
He has been active in professional life for several years as a project manager; as a strategic planning and business development director; and as an operations improvement program manager of well-known multinational corporations both in overseas and local. Plus, as an entrepreneur he has built various international franchising businesses. During the same periods, he has been lecturing in the business schools and/or industrial engineering departments of well-known universities.
Currently, he is lecturing in business schools and industrial engineering departments of worldwide known universities, plus acting as the affiliates of several US companies in industrial management and engineering consulting and training fields. Additionally, he is the founder-president of Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers - Turkish professional chapter; entrepreneur mentor in the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey; and the board member of Institute of High Performance Planners in Kansas City, US.
During his career path, he has completed and participated in above 100 industrial engineering and management professional projects, prepared for and deployed many training programs and seminars to various corporations. Plus, as a developer of Systematic Strategic Planning (SSP) and Results-Based Systematic Operations Improvement (SIP) methodologies, he has several books (twelve) and papers (especially in Operations Management and Improvement, and Strategic Planning areas) published by the world-wide known publication houses (such as Taylor & Francis) and journals.
