Because I'm lazy and didn't want to connect a cord after removing my old WiFi card, I downloaded the drivers from here BEFORE installing the card but did not install them YET. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/wireless/WIFI_Win7_8_8-1_VER6322231_VER6312231_V6302231.zip AFTER the card was installed, I installed the driver package above. This contains both the WiFi and BT drivers. Initially, I was only connected at 144Mbps to my Airport Extreme. To correct this issue, under the advanced tab of the Network Adapter Properties, I changed the following: Band Preference = Prefer 802.11a Bandwidth Compatibility = 11/a/b/g:20/40MHz I also have a BT Razer Orochi mouse connected as well. This mouse has always been twitchy in frequently dropping connection. The first time it's actually worked correctly was when it was paired with my OEM BCM943142. So far, so good on this card. I'll pop back in and update this review if I have any troubles. -- Update: A few months later, this card is still going strong. Before inserting it into the laptop, go to Intel website and download and install the drivers for both wifi and bluetooth. Remove device and restart.", Then you have to either return this card or modify the bios. If you want to risk your laptop, you may go bios-mods.com then click "modificatioin downloads" Then, search your bios version number, if you are lucky enough, you will find modified bios. Then, follow the instruction by the website. I did modify my bios due to the compatibility issue, it works great generally. My 7 years old HP G60 now has a great Bluetooth and great wifi together.
