So I was under the impression for almost 12.00 that you were getting the set. You should of seen my face when a 20 page book came in the mail.
In this book a young boy and his dragon celebrate autumn with several activities. The raking and playing in the leaves were fun. They then dress up for Halloween and go to a party where Dragon wins the best costume prize. A very simple story with repetitive words for our new readers. I love the extra things at the back for teachers and parents such as word lists, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension activities. A great book for primary classrooms and family libraries. The publisher generously provided me a copy of this book through Netgalley.
I've featured it on a list of Kindergarten level books about pumpkins and Fall and it covers both topics by having the boy and his dragon raking leaves and picking pumpkins. To round out the festivities mom bakes a pumpkin pie, dad carves a pumpkin, and everyone goes Trick or Treating.
There are 32 pages and 64 different vocabulary words. The text is LARGE and the drawings are bright and colorful.
