"This book has a lot in common with other YA dystopian books with a strong female main character and the fighting for survival. But it becomes truly unique when it weaves in the idea of the Halo and it's mind numbing effects. The parallels of the Halo to our own society, in our constant use of drugs (prescription or otherwise) and alcohol to numb ourselves from pain (physical and/or emotional), are glaringly remarkable. This is a great read and I like how it takes a common, popular genre and gives it a twist that leaves everyone thinking about the state of our own society, but without being boring! It's very exciting and I'm looking for ward to seeing if there is a next book." Kanaka Review
"Halo by Frankie Rose was a quick read, action filled, and I honestly was unable to put this one down. It has a unique plot and some interesting characters. I say this a lot but characters on top of a good story really make me love a book and this one has both. Honestly there was so much I enjoyed about this book I don't really know if I will be able to do it justice in my review but I will try.

"Frankie Rose writes a book that is both a page-turning story of survival and love, but also that raises deep questions about our humanity and hearts." Jordan E Pederson - An Amazon Customer
"She's done it again! Frankie Rose has managed to cram enough emotion into a single novel to leave her readers emotionally exhausted for the rest of their lives, and yet, all I want is more.
The fact I keep dragging myself out of this dark hole called a "book hangover" for more attacks on my feels should tell you ALL Rose is a fantastic author." Allana Kephart [Author] - Originally posted on Girls *Heart* Books.
