I have mixed feelings about this product. First of all, let's cover the good. The desk is very sturdy and solid mechanically speaking. The rise and lowering is smooth and inspires a lot of confidence in the hardware. The size of the desk is great for someone who doesn't have a ton of space to share.
The not-so-good: The desk has a very high sheen on the wood which makes it look even more like cheap laminate and makes it hard to keep the desk clean. Also the keyboard tray, as others have noted, is essentially useless. It is extremely small and unless you are using a compact keyboard you won't find it useful which is why I had to return the desk. The desk could also use some cable management accessories like cable clips or at least somewhere to thread cords so they can extend and retract with the desk.

Thought this was a really nice product bit was a little disappointed to see a large scratch on the top right out of the box. Not sure how it could have gotten scratched as the product was very securely packaged. Over all quality of the unit is very good. A little unimpressed with the keyboard shelf being shorter than the average keyboard. I would recommend passing this item up because of the useless keyboard shelf. I feel leaving an overall 2 star review is being generous.

The unit raised and lowered without problems. The desktop surface is fully rectangular and sizable. The keyboard tray is small, but the unit does have cable management. Unfortunately, mine arrived with four visible defects on the desktop. I've attached photos. It's a good basic unit, but I am returning it for obvious reasons. Upon further review, it appears the top should have been finished, but was not. Took away another star.
