I've been using "Kimberly-Clark Professional 55082 Med Purple 100/pk Safeskin Nitrile Exam Glv" for many years and have found this product to be very good and consistent in quality. Unlike some brands, with Kimberly Clark, I experience almost zero product defects with these "Made in Thailand" (see photo) gloves.

I use these Nitrile (see photo) gloves in areas ranging from optical fabrication areas to high energy laser labs and go through as many as 20 pairs in a week and I can't remember the last time a pair ripped and tore on me as I was putting them on.

The Kimberly Clark gloves are slightly more thick than a competing brand's blue Nitrile gloves that I also use. Because of that, I experience a tad less tactile sensation with my finger. The extra thickness does let me get a bit more rough with the gloves as these gloves tend not to tear in the palms when torquing down on an Allen head (hex) screw with a ball driver or rip open at the finger tips when tightening an 8-32 or 1/4-20 cap screw with your fingers.

Because these gloves are powder free (see photo) and generally non out gassing, I can use these gloves in strict environmentally controlled areas such as in a level 100 or class 6 cleanroom that is ESD compliant. Being latex free (see photo), the gloves are hypoallergenic and more people friendly.

I recommend this product.

So, although these gloves are marketed to those in the medical field, I purchased them for general mechanic work.

I must say, I am nothing but impressed with them so far. The textured fingertips and the thickness of the gloves make them durable and easy to use. The quality of these is much higher than the blue nitrile gloves I was buying from the local 'Made in China' tool chain store. My previous brand was thin, and would constantly rip as I did my work - but today I made it through a whole day on the same pair of gloves. Definitely a step up - I'll be keeping these stocked on my shelf.

These gloves are fantastic and amazingly sturdy. I've been wearing one pair for kitchen chores for 2 weeks now. I pull them on and off several times a day.

I wasn't sure whether to buy the small or extra small, so I called the customer service number from the Kimberly-Clark website. (I went through several toll-free numbers to get the right service person for my needs.) Anyway, I got a super guy who emailed me a glove sizing chart.

Wouldn't you know I was right in-between sizes? I emailed him back and he told me they run a little large so he'd recommend the extra small. He was right!

I was in a hurry, so got both and find both useful. The nice snug extra smalls are perfect for fine work where I don't want any loose finger tips...the smalls are great for everything else.

If you're unsure about what size to get I highly recommend you call and get the chart. They're wonderful gloves and you CAN get the proper fit. :)

I've been asked to post the proper number to call for the glove info. Here it is: 1 - 888 - 346 - 4652. I hope Amazon allows it, because it really was hard to get the right one.

Emergency Management and Life Safety is part of my job. I have purchased a lot of gloves in the past and I found that these are the best. They even have a slight texture on the finger tips to aid with griping items. The sizing seems to run true to its form which is very helpful. These are the only gloves I will use now.

In my job in a doctors office I need disposable exam gloves that fit comfortably and enable me to actually feel what I need to, like when I draw blood to be sure I'm aiming at the right spot. These gloves are not irritating to my skin and don't have any powder in them.

THE PRODUCT PICTURE IS WRONG! These gloves DO NOT cover the wrist. In fact, they barely reach the wrist. They cover just to the base of the palm.

I have purchased thousands of gloves. These are the shortest gloves I have ever seen. Do not buy these if you are looking for gloves for any type of submersion work (liquids) or dirt (gardening) or even to wipe down counters or do dishes. Liquid and debris easily travel into the glove.

They are annoying to use as it always feel like they are about to fall down/off as they only cover the palms. Weird gloves, indeed.

Now with alot of medical gloves you get white power in your hands, the gloves rip and break, and they aren't good at keeping bodily fluids out. If you want a GOOD, and semi think glove that is REALLY hard to break, get these.

Otherwise stick with those thin sky blue or light pink nursing gloves.

A real FIELD glove needs to be think and not break when you're doing CPR while going 85 down the highway with lights and sirens.

THis glove meets the requirement.

I purchased these gloves as everyday cleaning gloves to protect my hands (I have severe hand eczema). I originally purchased a pack of vinyl gloves at my local pharmacy but found that a hole would develop literally within MINUTES of use. My husband suggested nitrile so I ordered these. They are AWESOME. I've only put a hole in 1 so far and that's because it caught on a knife I was using. I have been able to reuse the same pair when cleaning or while preparing food and I am so thrilled with their quality! Will purchase again, but I think it'll take me a long time to go through 100.
