I've had this juicer two weeks and have juiced quite a few things with it. I am making protein smoothies with fruit/vegetable juice and yogurt every morning for breakfast.

Tips: Very soft fruits like bananas and pears don't give juice - they give fruit puree. The fruit puree you get is perfect for smoothies and also for baby food, but its not something you would want to just have a glass of it to drink.

Berries of all sorts, including pomegranate nodules, juice very well. Especially strawberries. The juicer is excellent at separating seeds from juice.

Tough skinned fruits like unpeeled apples and grapes juice well, but clog the juicer blade's mesh screen so you have to take it out and scrub it every so often or your juice wont be able to drain and will end up in the pulp bin.

Cleanup is super easy ****IF**** you clean it IMMEDIATELY after you are done juicing. The pulp comes out as a paste with the occasional larger chunk in it. While the paste is still moist, it just rinses off easily. But if you allow it to harden it turns into fruit cement and at that point its probably easier to buy a new juicer than it is to clean it. Extensive soaking would be required.

My only complaint about the product is that it is incredibly loud. You almost need ear plugs to operate it.

I purchased this in March 2016 and used it everyday and took GREAT care of it, however as of 8/6/2016 the blade at the bottom came apart from the basket blade. Now I have to go through the hassle of trying to contact hamilton beach for new parts. If this machine can not handle daily wear & tear for a few months, then what's the point in buying it. I cleaned it properly & used it once each day. Just a warning to all of the everyday juicing individuals out there. Other than that it works good.

I got this juicer to keep at work so I wouldn't be lugging my more expensive one from home every day and it does just as good a job. I've had to replace it once (due to the fact that someone got rid of the pusher thingy and I wasn't easily able to find another one that fit), but even when purchasing it twice I spent less than the one I have at home. If you're new to juicing, if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, if you're afraid you'll get bored with the whole process after too long, I recommend this juicer. Also, I picked this one since there are several of them on this site made by brands I've never heard of featuring suspicious 100% positive reviews written in broken English. Uh, no. I recognized the Hamilton Beach brand even though they're all probably made at the same place. This juicer is simple, reliable, and cheap.

I've made carrot juice for years with another brand of juicer till it broke. I am so glad I had to buy a new one since this is so much better. The wide mouth is absolutely fantastic. I can put 2-3 carrots in the shoot at one time instead of having to cut the large ones down the middle.
This has the strainer basket and blade in one piece. It makes it easier to clean and much safer.
It is noisy, but so was the other juicer and my food processor. I put a decibel meter next to it on the counter. 44 before I turned the machine on, 94 after I turned it on and down to 87 decibels when the carrots were being juiced. I thought it would register more than that. It's obnoxious but so is my food processor when I shred carrots. There is probably no way to make a silent juicer. I just put on some noise reducing protection and juice away happily.
So glad my other one broke and I bought this one. Highly recommend it!

This works pretty good. It is our first juicer and the prices was right for checking out juicing. I know there are better ones out there, but this is a good starter. It doesn't work all that well with Kale or spinach ... most of it goes into the pulp section. I put a banana through it and it ALL went to pulp. My next purchase would be a cold masticating juicer that gets more juice from the product and doesn't foam it up as this one does. The strainer is a pain to clean, but if you do it immediately after the juicing, it is okay too. Can get a little messy, but I'm glad I have it. It helped me figure out my juicing system which uses a combination of smoothies and juicer to get the most from the foods I want to consume.

I used it for the first time and it leaked, everywhere, it was spraying out liquid from the top of the catcher and along the locking latches. Now I have to clean the microwave that was behind it. I purchased this juicer to make fresh fruit and vegetable juice instead of having to buy juice from the store which is loaded with sugar. I think the product is worth the price. I use it frequently and I've used this juice extractor to make juice out of carrots, cucumber, grapefruit, apples, oranges, beet root, tomatoes and many more fruits/vegetables. What I've noticed is that the pulp from soft fruits/vegetables like oranges and tomatoes has quite a lot of moisture content remaining after juicing while carrot/beet root pulp was pretty dry. From what I've learnt , this is generally the case with this type of juicers and I would have to buy a masticating juicer to extract everything out of oranges/tomatoes.

Worth the price , in my opinion.

La calidad del jugo es muy buena. No es tan ruidoso como dice un comentario anterior. Además es muy sencillo desensamblar para lavarlo. Incluye un cepillo para lavar facilmente la canastilla.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Poor juice recovery, the discarded fruit and such has a lot more that could be extracted.

The mesh strainer is a big pain to clean.
