This processor replaces an small old Sunbeam processor. It's powerful, I chopped some whole garlic cloves and cherry tomatoes with several pulses as I did with my old machine and this one almost over blended, it was so fast. It appears this motor approaches 1/2 horsepower and should be powerful enough for most smaller processing applications. The only "con" is that it is noisy, it would have been nice for the manufacturer to reduce the noise of the motor, but for about $20, I can't complain, I looked at several reviews of other small processors available and this one was the best for the price.

You have to cut your raw vegetables into about 1/2 inch -1 inch pieces and can only fill the container 1/2 way, otherwise the top half of the container will remain unchopped. I use this every week to make my birds a riced vegetable mix. Easy to clean just rinse and wipe dry, haven’t tried it in the dishwasher and won’t. May not be practical if you’re chopping/ ricing huge quantities.
Small enough to keep in a cabinet and not clutter counter. Sharp blades probably not good for kids, hasn’t been a problem for me. No nooks or crannies where food particles can accumulate and get grody. Glad I bought.
