Forgot to mention the Mil Dot rectile...HUGE feature...I can use the lower mil dot when shooting lighter pellets.
The first one would not hold zero. I never got it to group 3 shots under about 5 inches @ 50 ft. After 100+ rounds I gave up and sent it back for a refund and ordered a new one. Additionally, one of the lens covers was cracked on this scope, so maybe it had a hard drop or something somewhere along the way? There wasn't any visible problems with the scope itself, just the lens cap.
The second one was everything I had read about in previous reviews. I had it sighted in within 12 rounds, and I was putting 1/4" groups up with many punching holes through holes at the same 50 ft. (with an occasional flyer) I was very happy with the features, clarity, and performance of this one....until at my approx. 150-175th shot the windage knob just fell off. Not just the adjuster, the whole knob assembly. Thinking that maybe it didn't get properly threaded in at manufacture, I backed off the adjustment to allow re-assembly and reinstalled the knob assembly. I was about 7 shots into re-zeroing the scope and the knob fell off again. UNCLE!
I've got to give the retailer (Etailz) an exceptional rating as shipping was excellent, and so was their handling of both returns. The refund was immediate both times after I shipped the faulty scopes back to them. Maybe the 3rd time would've been a charm on the scope, but I think I'll take my chances on another brand.
