This isn't so much a novel as a collection of dialogs as detectives walk through the investigation of a crime. There is almost no prose, no character development, no insite into what any of the parties are thinking, no reflections by the detective about how all the interviews are boring but a required part of police work. There was also no real explaination of how the detective solved the crime.

I couldn't get more than a few pages into this one. I like to give every book a fair chance to redeem itself but it was apparent by page 11 that it was just not going to happen for this one. No real story, no real set up. Just a couple of cops talking back and forth. Thank goodness it was free and that I only wasted about 5 minutes on it. Seven if you count the time I took to review it!

A couple of rewrites and this perhaps could be a good book. It is choppy, missing exposition and character development. Plot is ok.

Just like others have said in their reviews, I wasn't sure what to make of this one. It's mainly all dialogue(Story?). I worked my way through it, but it was hard. The best thing about this one was that it was free.
