From the Back Cover
There has been no definitive source to which researchers could turn to for advice on international management research. The Handbook for International Management Research provides such a definitive source. It is international in scope and reflects international opinions.
Academics and managers agree that managers in the 1990s and the 21st century will depend on an understanding of the international dimensions of management to be effective. This internationalization of business has necessarily resulted in internationalization of research in the management field. Authors have addressed some of the issues resulting from these trends, but thus far material is dispersed in a variety of journals.
International Management Research provides a concise summary of the major streams of research, the methodologies commonly used in research, and directions for future research. Academics, students, and all people interested in international management will find this book indispensable. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.
