I've eyeballed this lens for about a year and because of all of the negative reviews, I refused to pay $2k+ for it. HOWEVER, last month I found a used copy for $485, which I felt was very reasonable so, I jumped at the chance to own it. I've yet to do a bokeh comparison between it and the Fujifilm 56mm f1.2, which I also own.I can say that this is a fun lens and at the same time, some of what people complain about is true, depending on how you view the complaints. The images at f0.85 are indeed soft and there is a lot of CA when shooting white or shiny objects in bright light but depending on how and what you're shooting, these are also some nice characteristics about it. For reference, I've included an image shot at f5.6. I know I know, you want to see something shot at f0.85 but unfortunately I don't have any of those shots on my phone.I really like this lens, but I'd hate it if I had paid a few thousand dollars for it.
