This album will always remind me of 8th grade. I had the tape, and had been wanting to get in on CD for years. I finally found a copy on Ebay a few months ago, and since then it has almost constantly been in my car stereo. "Search and Seizure" was always my favorite and it still makes me bang my head and throw devil horns out the window.
Anything that can make an old, fat, boring married guy feel like a carefree 13 yr old again is pretty good.

If you like thrash music like Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer then you will love this Album. Look some up on youtube, it is a thrasterpiece PERIOD. I have only two complaints. Its out of print here in the states and it seriously lacks bass so it can be a little hard on the ears without some good eq'ing. If you like really good, well written/though out thrash music then you will love this album!

I first heard this album in my senior year in high school in 1990 (yes I'm getting old, lol). A friend of mine back then let me borrow his cassette tape and I loved it but never got around to buying it. My taste in music is widely varied and has pretty much stayed the same as it was back then. I still love this CD. I just ordered it a few weeks ago and I hadn't heard it in 22 years. (Holy crap, has it really been THAT long?!?) My favorite songs are the first 2 titled "New Song" and "Critical Mass" which bring back memories of being a senior in high school. It's nothin' but good old 90's metal!

Hearing Nuclear Assault on cassette tape took me back to the early years of watching Headbanger's Ball and playing Double Dragon 2 on Nintendo. "Critical Mass" still stands as one of my favorite songs.

This is one of my favorite metal albums, but the sound on this CD is TERRIBLE. It has no high or low frequencies, so it's just flat and muddy. I opened a track in an audio editing program and the screen was just solid green, as if whoever mixed it just cranked the volume all the way up and applied a hard limiter to keep it from distorting - removing anything besides the mid-range frequencies in the process. I find it hard to believe this is original mix, since none of my other CDs from the era are like this. It's so bad it makes it hard to listen to, so I guess it's a waste of $14 since I can't return an opened CD. The cassette tape copy I made from a CD 20 years ago sounds way better.

The CD is new, but is not from the original label and appears to be from Argentina (and it's not what's pictured on the Amazon.com page). The packaging says it's licensed, but the audio quality and disc printing are less than I'd expected. Very disappointing.

I have been listening to Nuclear Assault for a long time now and there one of the best thrash bands ever.Handle With Care is in the top five thrash albums of all time. The album starts off with one of the best thrash songs ever, called New Song, this is a pure fight song,it just pumps you up.From then on the album never gets boring, all the songs just blow you away.John Connelly is one of the best thrash singers. The album has it's typical Nuclear Assault goof off songs on the album. The song is called Funky Noise, thats why Nuclear Assault rules. My three favorite thrash bands are,1 Powermad,2 Nuclear Assault,3 Dark Angel. This album is for real headbangers only. Please reissue Handle With Care and Survive. For fans of Anthrax,Vio-lence,and D.R.I.

Oh!This album is simply awesome. If you have noticed,i have put in seven exclamation marks. That's because the max rating i can give is 5 stars and this album deserves more.(much more).Easily this is the best release from NUCLEAR ASSAULT.And this will walk into most heavy metal fans' top 10 lists with eyes closed and a swagger that will be hard to match.Simply superb tracks-New song,Critical mass,Emergency,Wake up,Search and seizure and Trail....Fast riffs,mind-blowing guitars, blazing percussion and ripping vocals-you name it,this has got it.Any sincere true heavy metal fan out there please go out and buy this. You will not regret it.In fact, you will end up thanking me.

Without a doubt, Nuclear Assault can play with the best of the best in the thrash world. I also respect the fact they incorporated a punkish vocal style. To me, that makes this band unique. But with any band that has a unique prowess about them, it is an acquired taste. For me, they just haven't delivered vocally. On the contrary, they deliever top notch for lyrical themes. I am a huge fan of the political side that Nuclear Assault takes. In fact, some of their music can be taken to help define this modern day society we live in. For example from the song When Freedom Dies, "Then the world endured, a victory won. Against an insane man and his cohorts. But once the war was done, blind fear prevailed. And years of darkness came, freedom was nailed. We become the enemy. When freedom dies for security." If you ask me, it sounds a little bit like the Patriot Act that is still in use today even after the job of killing Usama Bin Laden was accomplished. To me, the lyrical themes and poltical awareness of this band deserves my upmost respect. They are one of the bests from the east coast. Overall, if you can bear the punkish vocals and shrieks this album is for you. Im really wanting this album to grow on me though.
