I bought substandard Walmart tempera paint and the first blueberry was the result*, the basket and darker blurry was the result of mixing these much higher quality Tempera paints w/ Acrylic paint. BTW, it took me many layers to even cover the first blueberry cutout.

I bought this paint to paint pumpkins with my 2 year old and his 1 year old best friend. They loved it! I saw on google to mix tempera paint with glue but I didn't do that and the pumpkins look great, this paint did not chip or fade at all. It was very easy to cover the orange pumpkin with one coat of this paint, not see through at all. It came off of hands and legs (again a 2 year old) very easily. I will say we painted the pumpkins on my drive way and 3 days later the paint is still there but hopefully if I get out there with soap and a scrub brush it will come off. I was lucky enough that by some miracle my son didn't get any on his clothing so I am not sure how it washes off clothes. The one year old did paint on my car but we got a soap paper towel and the paint came right off. Over all I was very happy with the purchase especially since the Crayola brand paint is twice this amount, I say buy this one.

Great for young kids’ process art

I just bought my second set of these. You get what you pay for, a cheap set of paints for kids to learn the process of painting things, so they can have fun and I don’t worry about waste or outcome. You have to learn the ratio of primaries to mix into shades of secondaries (obviously the pigments are gonna be light in this cheap set) but we can get a decent enough orange and purple out of this set now.
Nice thickness, paints well on paper and cardboard.
Yellow doesn’t come out very saturated but the kids are fine with it.
Great for fingerpainting.
Red does stain some clothes, but comes off of tables and hands so far.

Works nice on paper for finger painting and stuff (aside from the red) it is very washable. I bought it to try for window painting for christmas (i know washable isn't a great idea for windows) I wanted to give it a shot especially because of the price, and it wasn't the best. It was just pretty see through. You could still use it on windows, it's just not a great option. As far as washable tempra for windows go, crayola is more opaque. Again though, for paper this works well.

I found these to be excellent, a good amount of paint, went on very easy, clean-up was easy. I dont think you can really go wrong with these.
Note: The package says the paint stains, so wear play clothes when you do it. Just in case. I put a base of newspaper when I was painting, and managed to not get it on anything.

I found these to be the best value for size.

The paint itself is fine in terms of texture and colour but it doesn’t wash out of clothes at all which makes it awful for kids. I tried to wash iut our clothes right after painting with soap and water and that didn’t get it out at all and now I’ve done three different rounds of oxy clean and left it overnight (with washes in between) and the pain still isn’t completely out! I would definitely not recommend it for kids as advertised.

The colour isn't as thick as needed if you want to do more "quality" painting projects, but it's definitely good enough for kids projects.
