Amazing value but STAINS clothing

These are still really, really great for the unbeatable price, but the coverage isn't quite as good as regular acrylic paints (takes more layers), and it dries just a little slower, too. ** MAIN COMPLAINT *** These do NOT come out of clothes. Washable from skin if use dish soap and a sponge for added scrubbing power, but several clothing pieces and towels were permanently stained, even when we washed them out immediately after.

We did a quick fun 5 minute project outside throwing and smearing paint, which of course got onto their shirts and pants, and we immediately removed and soaked the clothing afterward, to no avail. Have used several times and the girls accidentally ruined some towels, too. These are a great option if you designate an area with no carpet or furniture and wear old clothes. I'd rate it higher if the listing didn't say "washable" and warned that it stains fabric/clothing.

Fantastic paint! We purchased this for my 2 year old daughter and she absolutely enjoys painting! Every day she uses this on her easel or outside painting shells. We also use this mixed with a bit of baking soda and allow her to paint on the driveway, she then sprays vinegar on it and her painting comes to life as the baking soda allows it to expand and makes exploding 3D paint. It has very bright and vivid colors and easily washable! My daughter managed to cover herself every time and one quick wash in the machine and it is out of her clothes. Fantastic item for home use, daycares and schools!

Paints are great and vibrant (five stars). However, I was really disappointed that four of the bottles of paint had their seals removed and three of those had been visibly used with paint on the caps both inside and smudges on the outside of the caps. It's annoying that they had been used, returned and then resold. Although they were more or less full of paint, there should be better quality control and a discount for used items.

Nice and bright pretty color. Washes off hands no problem. Came off in the shower without even scrubbing. Some reviews said it stains clothing. Will update on that later as my son painted my expensive handwash shirt and I've yet to see the results. Good for finger paint for sure. Will probably buy more if I ever run out.

Update: my shirt is lightly stained forever now. So no, this will not wash out of clothes. It's come of everything else though. Tables, skin, the brush. Any dried paint will stain the brush though.

Paint is paint though. This is excellent for my kids and I still recommend it.

I bought this paint to paint pumpkins with my 2 year old and his 1 year old best friend. They loved it! I saw on google to mix tempera paint with glue but I didn't do that and the pumpkins look great, this paint did not chip or fade at all. It was very easy to cover the orange pumpkin with one coat of this paint, not see through at all. It came off of hands and legs (again a 2 year old) very easily. I will say we painted the pumpkins on my drive way and 3 days later the paint is still there but hopefully if I get out there with soap and a scrub brush it will come off. I was lucky enough that by some miracle my son didn't get any on his clothing so I am not sure how it washes off clothes. The one year old did paint on my car but we got a soap paper towel and the paint came right off. Over all I was very happy with the purchase especially since the Crayola brand paint is twice this amount, I say buy this one.

This paint is comparable to Crayola tempera paints. The consistency is slightly thinner than Crayola, but I found its opacity is nearly the same. This paint worked well on construction paper and watercolor paper. I also used it to make homemade puffy paint. The colors are vibrant and mixed well to make secondary colors. I'm an art teacher and I recommend this product.

Be aware that although the description says cleans up easily with soap and water, this was not true in our case. Our brushes, paint cups and clothing are all stained and couldn't be washed clean of paint. Also, the strong odor makes me doubt that the paint is non toxic as the description suggests. Nowhere on the product does it say non-toxic, just in the description on this site.

I found these to be excellent, a good amount of paint, went on very easy, clean-up was easy. I dont think you can really go wrong with these.
Note: The package says the paint stains, so wear play clothes when you do it. Just in case. I put a base of newspaper when I was painting, and managed to not get it on anything.

I found these to be the best value for size.

Works nice on paper for finger painting and stuff (aside from the red) it is very washable. I bought it to try for window painting for christmas (i know washable isn't a great idea for windows) I wanted to give it a shot especially because of the price, and it wasn't the best. It was just pretty see through. You could still use it on windows, it's just not a great option. As far as washable tempra for windows go, crayola is more opaque. Again though, for paper this works well.
