The item may have a taken a couple of days longer to get to me, and may have cost a few dollars more (but only a few)... but was obviously well worth it. Just put this one in your shopping cart and go on.
Also, my wife had to show me how to use it in that 1) you use the 'hooker' to grab the body of the hanger (and not the hook of the hanger), and 2) its shape allows it to hang on a closet rod (no need for an extra hook on the wall to hang it).
Fractures in my back keep me from reaching the clothes on the upper poles in my closet. Since I don't want to use a stepstool, a lot of my nice clothes were just hanging and looking good all by themselves. This hook arrived, I easily positioned it on a hanger, lifted the hanger down, and viola - the top was looking good on me! I'm so happy to have access to most of my wardrobe again.
I'm thinking it may be good for getting my cat's toys out from under furniture and who knows what else.

It is very useful but I took off 2 stars as it bent the first time I used it. If you plan to use it for lighter garments, it should work fine but it is not good for something... Read morePublished 1 month ago by sp
