Hannah’s story is a beautiful love story of two lovable characters as they reach difficult turning points in their lives. As much as I admired Hannah for her courageous, decisiveness and independence, I found her a little aloof at the beginning of the story. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Hollis because once he decided he wanted to date Hannah, he opened up and put his heart on the line. Hollis, surprisingly, changed a lot throughout this entire book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Even though it sounds sad, it is actually an upbeat, happy book. Hannah and Hollis rediscover themselves, change their lives as they fall in love with each other.
I highly recommend this book.
This book touches very well on the process of grieving loved ones that have passed. How loss affects so many facets of you life from your relationships with friends and fellow family members to how you see your place in the world. It touches on how everyone grieves differently and how healing from it can be near impossible. It is very well written. you will find yourself wanting to both cry, laugh, and even swoon a bit. The relationship between Hannah and Hollis is very subtle and I like it. Its refreshing to have an author focus more on the emotional relationship and less on the physical one. Well done.
Hannah needs to start over again. She ends up in her small hometown with her clothes and guitar. She ends up meeting the rough Hollis Ackers. Some how he rubs her the wrong way until things change. Will Hannah follow her heart or will she stay in the dark.
This is Terras best book to date! Good strong characters and a story line that will have you flipping the pages. Highly recommended. Five big stars!!!
Highly recommended and can't wait to read the novella that will follow this story!
