One minor gripe.....the toaster could be a little better. The button you push could have options. For example, push so much & it pop-up's like a regular toaster (it does do this), push a little more & actually pop-out (kids love this, but you really have to push just right), etc. However, not a reason I wouldn't buy this - I would buy this again for sure. And, not sure why the plate is so small in diameter compared to the toast. You'll see what I mean. The toast size is bigger than the diameter of the plate so it is impossible to put on the plate & falls off. Again, not a reason I wouldn't buy - you can use any plate & so far the children don't seem to mind.
I was actually surprised @ how much time they spent w/ this. I would recommend right around 3 years old for this. That is when the pretend/imagination play is kicking in & they appreciate it more. Younger than that will play w/ it, but I don't think they will enjoy it as much unless they have olders siblings.
Some might not care, but I'm very picky on packaging. I don't like items that are open/can't tell if return/etc. I loved that this came in a nice box & when you open the box it is sealed inside & each item is also individually wrapped. It is impossible this is a return/etc - it is wrapped very well. Bonus points! Also, everything I've read they utilize safe paint/etc & that is VERY important so I'm very happy about that.
Highly recommend for age 3.
They are very sturdy....can fall on the floor and don't break. They all have parts that can be moved by the child.

This is a very sweet toy, but the smaller butter slices are a concern for smaller children. The lever pops the toast up which for less coordinated children can be frustrating... Read morePublished 22 days ago by Noelle C.
Really wanted to like this, but within days of opening, my child managed to lodge butter pieces in both toast slots. Read morePublished 26 days ago by EH
The design is very pretty and thought other reviews stated their phone logo wasn't centered, mine seems to be. A couple of issues I have with the case:

I thought this was a super-cute set and thought my 2.5 year old would love it. The butter is probably stuck under a piece of furniture somewhere. The honey bear got tossed aside. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Dawn Dodd
