I have been a Trista fan since the first season of the Bachelor then the Bachelorett. Her outlook and positivity is contagious! She shares that contagious heartwarming feel through her book. I also love reading her #favpartoftheday on twitterl. It is a reminder of all the blessings we have on a daily basis even if we don't think we have any. She encourages readers to seek those blessings and recoginze them and be grateful for them as the end result is truly happiness. What we all seek! Seeing Trista on interviews and how she conducted herself on the Bachelor and Bachelorett and her broadcast wedding to Ryan Sutter you can see that her outlook on life is what makes her smile. Her book is a tool for us all to recogonize and give gratitude to the many gifts that are given to us all the time! There are there. She helps her readers to take notice and savor all the positive and loving feelings from these "little" things which could truly bring us joy if we take the time to recognize and appreciate it! I loved this book and will refernce back to it often I'm sure as I need a pick me up and for inspiration. Thank you Trista for this wonderful book. I have really enjoyed reading this book. Very easy to read and down to earth. It just gives you that reminder of how gratitude effects your life with real every day applications. Family, friends, Career. This book is a simply a reminder/refresher on living with a grateful heart and mind. I'm at a point right now that I feel I have lost the sparkle in my eye, the love of life I used to have and just the plan 'ol "life is good" attitude. So I went searching for some reading that can awaken my heart and mind again. (I miss me) This book has started to push me out of my funk and remind me its the "simple things" in life. This book was both uplifting and inspiring and has provided me with an opportunity to literally change my perspective. The vignettes and short anecdotal stories make it a very quick read. I especially love the "Happily Ever Actions" at the end of each chapter. As we all know, it is action that creates the biggest changes in our lives. I also like how Trista shares both the good and bad she has experienced in her life -- she is real and down to earth, even though she is a well-known celebrity. If you are looking for ways to have a more grateful heart and to express gratitude more frequently in your life, this book is for you.

Her book has made me even more of a fan- her book is truly inspiring and full of amazing stories and ideas that left me with tears in my eyes. Her attitude of being consistenly grateful in good times and bad is a great message and I love that she brought in countless stories of those she knows and those she has never met to embody her message of how being grateful, leads you to being happy. What an inspiring book to read as we enter a new year- I will definitely be putting to use some of her ideas about how to show my gratitude to others everyday, and will be sure to refer back to her book on days when I am feeling less than grateful.

I couldn't wait to read this book. I have watched The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for years and I thought this book would be more about Trista and Ryan, their life together, children, etc. Now she did talk about her family but there were so many quotes from other people that I felt like I was reading a book of quotes. Trista had some good ideas about gifts, thank you notes, showing gratitude which is wonderful but the book just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I got to the point where as I turned each page, I knew there would be at least one, in some cases, multiple quotes by someone else, on the next page. As a fan of Trista and Ryan on The Bachelorette, I watched their wedding, read about the birth of each of their children and was happy for them. I guess I was just expecting more personal stories, less quotes from others.
