I like the book includes drawings that will require varying degrees of coloring skill. There are pages that are very easy to color and great for days when you want to color, but don't want to have to think a lot about keeping the color in the lines. Then there are more intricate pages that require a lot of attention to detail which are great for the days when you are feeling really creative.
Sasha included some pages at the beginning of the book to use as color swatches, so you can put your colors on a page to see what they'll actually look like before adding it to your drawing. I also use them when I am playing with new mediums or techniques for blending.
I would recommend keeping a sheet of paper or something behind the page when coloring in case ink bleeds through the ,but each page is printed single sided, so you won't have to worry about ruining another drawing on the back side of the page.
I hope this review is helpful.
We also don't buy each other presents or hold cute themed gift exchanges. But sometimes when a co-worker has gone above and beyond, you gotta do something. This was this year's perfect "something." Ever since, the recipients have been dutifully coloring these bad455 pages and posting them everywhere that management fears to tread.
We call it "taking an art therapy sanity break." Hey, whatever works.
