Specifically designed for men, Harbinger Training Grip Gloves are ideal for frequent lifters and all-around weight trainers. The gloves are distinguished by a set of TechGel comfort pads, which mold comfortably to your hands to protect them from the stresses of active training. The unique Comfort Tech fabrics, meanwhile, remain supple and comfortable even after cleaning. Patented Wristwrap technology stabilizes wrist joints, which improves a lifter's ability to lift heavier amounts of weight over a longer period of time by maximizing comfort and support. A final detail includes extended fingers to maximize hand protection. Note: the gloves should be hand washed to remove salt and oils and preserve the original fit.

So I thought I'd get serious and go for function rather than look. These gloves aren't as pretty as the new Bioform series, but they had better and more numerous reviews and better pricing. They do the job for sure - and heck they do it well.
Construct: Sturdy. Having used these three times a week lifting for half a year they still hold together really well.
Grip: Well-cushioned, just how I like it. Some lifters may forgo comfort for control, but I like comfort. The occasional sweaty palm is wicked real quick, so I never had to worry.
Support: Wrist support is strong, yet sufficiently flexible for wrist twisting movements such as dips.
Fit: I fit a Large. I understand from other reviews that Harbinger seems to fit differently from most brands, so check their chart.
Washability: Just dump into the washing machine, no problem. All parts are sewn (not glued like some versions), so nothing falls off.
Ventilation: Might get a bit stuffy/warm.
Perhaps the only other 'con' was that the sides of the palms, especially up the sides of the pinkie, are not as well cushioned, which might be important for certain movements. Of course, not many gloves offer that in the market so I'm reaching here. Other than that I think this is a highly functional glove worth every dollar I put in. A 2nd pair is in my cart when I was typing this. :)
Needing an upgrade over older Harbinger (beaten to death and now peeling) and BNooch (Velcro keeps falling aparty gloves, terrific reviews led me to purchase a pair of these bad boys.
For my purposes, I want/ed a glove for lifting, one that can take the grind of pushups/mountain climbers on concrete/turf, sled pushes/rope swings, barbell/kettle bell lifts, etc. Also not get disgusting from heavy sweating (it is W FL, after all). In short, a 'beat the bejeebuz out them' glove set.
These, my friends, are it. The pictures tell a tale of a seemingly bulky set of gloves...with a tail-length wrist wrap. Nope, and thankfully nope. Streamlined, well made, and with a nice support system that doesn't overwrap, these guys are a winner. Yes, they're around $10 more than I would've liked to spend, but - in this instance - you really do get what you pay for.
On the sizing part, get yourself a $1 sewing kit...and properly measure hand radius, as described, with the included tape. Using this info, I found these gloves a perfect fit...at a size larger than I usually purchase.
I had bought a similar pair from the same company in the past, and when those wore out (after 3-4 years of heavy use), I decided to buy another. Within the first few weeks of purchase, the interior seam on the first two fingers of my right burst. A week later, the thumb. The following week, the other hand went. Each time, being admittedly cheap, I had sewn the seam back by hand. And each following week or so I would sew yet another seam until the point where I think I had replaced almost the entire original thread work.
Now I will say this: It's been two years, and only recently has the glove started to fail again--and only from my less than professional sewing skills. The material itself is tough, and has even gone through the wash every few months.
That said, I gave these gloves way too many chances. If you're looking for quality that will hold together, I would go elsewhere.
Great gloves and gives good support to the wrists. Seem to be holding up well under heavy usage at the 10+ month mark. Starting to see some palm wear, but I am lifting heavy 6x/week, so the gloves are in use at least 4 of those days.
If you wear these every day, make sure you don't leave them in your gym bag overnight, hang them out to dry or they will STINK! I clean them 1x a month or so, by taking a solution of water and bleach. I soak them in it for an hour or so, then hang them out in the sun to dry.
