Product Description

From the directors of the award-winning motorcycle movies "Choppertown: the Sinners" and "Brittown" comes a new motorcycle fabrication adventure. Two years in the making, The Harbortown Bobber follows the ground-up build of Scott DiLalla's '69 bobber as

Review

The best motorcycle movie to date. --Lisa Ballard, Cycle Source Magazine

Night shirt, check. Slippers, check. Monkey pillow, check. Harbortown Bobber DVD in the player, double freaking check!!! Lets get ready to Ruuummmble!!! --Matt and Dean, DicE magazine

We've reviewed several documentaries from One World Studios (ChopperTown: The Sinners, Brittown, etc). They were all good documentaries of folks around the country who make and ride choppers. But this one is different, since it has a personal touch to it. The documentary is about one of the movie directors, Scott Di Lalla, who build up his own bopper, the Harbortown Bobber. Using a 69 Triumph TR6c bobber (just the frame really, nothing left on the motorcycle, and the engine of a '71 Triumph 650), Scott visits the country's gurus of customization, and uses their expertise to make his own bobber. It took 2 years to build the motorcycle, but now Scott has his own beauty. The documentary follows the trial & tribulations of the bike build, with interviews of the builders, interspersed with (mostly rock) music. As motorcycle documentaries go, this one is Discovery Channel material. It's a step-by-step on how to make your own...for all budding or confirmed motorcycle builders, but not OCC style, but real style. These bikes are meant to ride, not for exhibitions. Great stuff. --motorbiker.org
