This is a wonderful sophomore album release from one of the best country music rising singer-songwriters Lee Brice titled 'Hard 2 Love' : it's a follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut 'Love Like Crazy'. He has managed to successfully navigate from song-writing chart-topping songs to other country music stars to superstardom himself. This new CD (13 tracks) certainly solidifies his musical career as a serious singer-songwriter (he co-wrote eight of thirteen tracks) : great melodical guitars, incredible lyrics & vocals. Lee Brice sings about love found/lost and more in this album. Stand-outs/gems/solid tracks include "A Woman Like You", "That's When You Know It's Over", "I Drive Your Truck", "Life Off My Years", "Seven Days A Thousand Times" & "That Way Again". Great tracks include "Hard To Love" (great opening title track), "Parking Lot Party", "Don't Believe Everything You Think", "See About A Girl", "Friends We Won't Forget", "Beer" (fun track with great harmonica) & "On More Day". There is no weak track or CD filler in this CD release.

On overall, Lee Brice has certainly solidified his musical career in this wonderful sophomore release. A well deserved 5 star performance & a highly recommended CD listening!

I bought this album as a gift for someone and I know they are going to be pleased! The CD came in protective packaging and looks like I pulled it right from the shelf at the store. I also LOVE the fact that you automatically get the MP3 copy downloaded to your device (via the Amazon Music app). This purchase was WELL worth the amazing price! Thank you!

I've heard the song "A Woman Like You" on country radio and loved it. Instead of just downloading that song I decided to take a chance on the CD. I'm glad I did. There's a good collection of songs on it well worth the price.

this is a great song, and it tugs at my heart strings knowing that someone else's brother could be suffering from the loss of a loved one. I respect the troops and Lee Brice demonstrates his support of all the American families whose children, brother/sisters, uncles/aunts are serving in our great nation's defense.

Thank you Mr. Brice..

I first heard Woman Like You and it didn't hit me the way it did many others, but after previewing the album I figured I would give it a shot. The title track and Woman Like You are the ones many will be familiar with, but my favorites are actually Friends We Won't Forget and Parking Lot Party. It puts a little more fun into the album than the slower sappy songs. If you're a fan of either you'll enjoy the album.

This CD has a great mix of slow and faster tempo songs. If this is your first Lee Brice album then you should really go back and get them all. This is not to say his music does not change with time however if you liked this, you'll like them all. He has a great country voice and has great lyrics.

I'd definitely recommend his first album before this one, but Hard 2 Love is still pretty great (as long as you can get past the STUPID album name and cover). I've been a big Lee Brice fan for a while, but I'm a little worried that he's veering towards the female demographic, due to his success with the slower, prettier songs. Also, there are too many little "audio blurbs" in between the songs on his album. (It reminded me way too much of his friend Jerrod Niemann's album.)

Thank God he's still got some fun, fast, loud songs on the album. Let's hope he can continue his country rock success!

Talk about good storytelling through songs! This guy has earned me as a permanent fan. After seeing him twice live in concert at two very different times in his career, once about 2 years ago and once a couple months ago, I can tell that this guy just loves music and he loves what he does. One thing that I enjoy about this album is that, although there are only a couple have-fun-party songs "Beer" and "Parking Lot Party," you find yourself singing to them after a while. Each tells a little story or communicates something that everyone can relate to, whether it's because we have similar memories or because you can feel the emotions in his voice. Listen to "That Way Again" or "I Drive Your Truck" and see if you don't feel something. And out of the 13 songs on the album, Brice wrote or co-wrote 8 of them. I really value an artist who can create songs/music of there own and also record strong tracks that somebody else wrote too, like "Life Off My Years" which was written by Eric Church. I'd recommend this album in a heartbeat, especially if you like songs that are actually about something with substance, not just about a red solo cup, even though those songs are fun.
