HDD Internal Hard Drive Disk Case/Enclosure/Shell for Xbox 360 Slim. These cases snap together so you don't need any adhesives, just put your drive in it and press the halves together. When your Xbox 360 hard drive case is broken, you can change it easily with this Microsoft Xbox 360 Slim hard disk drive case.

These are cheaply made parts with low-quality/brittle plastics; but they serve the purpose of securing a hard drive inside the Xbox 360 Slim just fine. Once it's installed, the plastic is adequate to protect the drive and secure it in place, you likely will never need to remove it (unless your hard drive dies or fills up).
Well that system went RROD on me, so I ended up getting a new Slim model. I found a great deal on the 4GB version, which obviously didn't have a hard drive. So I took my existing hard drive out, put it in this case, and slid it right into the new system. It takes 5 min or less.
This case came in a retail style box. Not that I care (plain packaging or a bag is fine for this) but it was a perk showing this was not a super cheap item.
It doesn't need any tools. Again, not a deal breaker because I have tons of screwdrivers, but it was convenient just to snap it together.
Really none. But my pro about it not needing tools might be a pain if you ever want to swap the drive. It doesn't seem to open easily once together for fear of breaking the clips.
Another thing is that the fabric "tab" that is used to pull the drive out of the console once inserted is printed with "250GB" in the same manner that the official Xbox drives are. Well, that seems dumb to me because what if it isn't a 250GB drive? (mine by coincidence is)
It doesn't really matter and it is not seen, but if you are OCD it could drive you crazy.
The old hard drive enclosure is easy enough to take apart provided you have a set of T type screwdrivers / attachments (I forget the number, but it was somewhere between 8-10 I believe). Granted it all kind of fell apart afterwards and springs and stuff popped out, which I didn't feel like bothering to figure out how to put back together (just be careful when taking it apart and note where parts are before you start sliding stuff apart just in case you need or intend on putting the emptied enclosure back together).
The old hard drive fit in this enclosure. However, it wasn't a perfect fit, hence the 4 stars. In my case, one of the longer sides did not snap down evenly and left a slight gap along the edge since it was too tight of a fit to snap in place. But the other three sides did snap, and it's held together enough to not be an issue. It fit fine in the new xbox slim and is easy to pull back out. Just not a perfect fit, but it fits well enough (and once inside the xbox you can't see it anyways).
The only reason I gave it 4 stars (really 4.5 stars) instead of 5 is that the case does not snap together perfectly. The two pieces do not fit perfectly tight together all the way around. This in no way keeps it from working/functioning properly. It still holds the old hard drive just fine and it fits into the Slim's hard drive slot just fine. But fiddling with the two pieces thinking maybe I was putting them together backwards (I wasn't) deserves just the slightest knock.
A nice tight snap together fit was not had. BUT, it works just fine and is well worth it.
When your old 360 dies the rrod (3 of mine have) and you buy the new Slim, this product is a must have.
