The book provides some valuable insight into the mind and psyche of a true entrepreneur. He shares his assessment of situations and allows you to understand his thinking. Best of all, Joe never tries to tell the reader that he was always right or that his way was the best. He readily admits his miscues, but emphasizes what he learned from the experiences. The authenticity of Joe as a person, comes through in every page. Priceless!
Joe Ricketts’ The Harder You Work, The Luckier You Get is another success story; this time of a kind hearted person who stays true to his values while building an organization. He made some mistakes and admits it. And he emerges as a real role model and an inspiration to anyone with drive and a desire to make things better. Joe’s personality comes through in these pages and, as much as anything, made it a joyful read.
Having been an entrepreneur most most my life, I can relate for sure.
