As of the date of this review, the price of a 90-count bottle of HardyPet Complete is $44.99 for a single order, or $39.99 with autoship. See this link: [...]
The product itself has great reviews online from various sites, and I could not find any recalls. This is in contrast to my previous vitamin of choice, Virbac's Pet-Tabs Plus (Virbac is a division of Pfizer).

I had been a religious user of Pfizer/Virbac Pet-Tabs until I recently discovered ConsumerLabs report claiming Pet-Tabs were routinely and consistently contaminated with lead at levels exceeding recommended levels ("1.41 mcg (in 2007) and 6.45 mcg (in 2009). The latter is nearly 13 times above the level mandated as safe by the state of California."). See this link for a reprint of the article: [...]

Pfizer/Virbac disputes the report, but I err on the side of caution. Switch!

They don't comply with government regulation and don't return your money.

I purchased a bottle of Complete and a bottle of Immune supplements through HardyPet direct website (for some reasons it's cheaper there). Items arrived promptly - can't complain.

I spent days browsing online for the best supplement for my Doberman puppies. HardyPet seems to offer a good list of ingredients. I'd say it's the most comprehensive list of ingredients I've seen.

My complaint is about the lack of crude analysis. I find it suspicious. If you formulate supplements you put certain amount of each element into one pill.

The bottles didn't list guaranteed analysis with percentage. I emailed HardyPet. No answer. I called customer support. No answer. Left a message - no one called me back. I think if you have nothing to hide - you'd list the analysis. I went on AAFCO regulations website and yes - listing guaranteed analysis with percentage is a government regulation. I want to return what I've purchased.

Update:
I purchased my items in June. Returned them beginning of July. It's almost mid September - they didn't credit my money back, nor they responded to any of my emails or phone calls. I think this company is scam.

My dog had what appeared to be hot spots and I had an upcoming vet appointment to remove two warts (and have a pathology biopsy done for cancer).

I had seen that a lot of the pet supplement reviews on Amazon included products that were so bad in smell or taste that the pets would not take them. And the prices were often as expensive or more than people vitamins.

I had seen HardyPet on Amazon and checked out their website which includes FOUR primary formulations (for wafer LARGE hard pills). One version was (1) COMPLETE for combined, overall health (2) JOINT (3) IMMUNE (4) COAT/SKIN.

The website was cheaper than Amazon, so I ordered ONE EACH of COMPLETE (and) SKIN/COAT with shipping coming to approx $100

OK ... when I got them in the mail, I CHECKED THE INGREDIENTS ON THE DIFFERENT BOTTLES to see what the differences were. Especially since SKIN/COAT claimed to help recovery from Hot Spots, Allergies etc

HardyPet's webpage describes (quote) "our HardyPet Complete and Joint/Immune/Skin formulas"

SURPRISE - they are IDENTICAL INGREDIENTS, but with a DIFFERENT LABEL and slightly different claims or emphasis on the different product pages.

I just sent a complaint email to their website, where the only contact is either phone or "info@" I told them that "This is dishonest and at best misleading."

I will now consider other competing companies such as VetriScience OR NutraMax OR NuVetLabs. As I understand it their is no regulation of this industry and quality varies as well as bad contaminant levels such as LEAD. Consumer Reports has not done anything on testing so I'll have to research online.

I can not say that the vitamins have done much good after about 4 weeks after. For the benefit given and the expense paid I am not sure I can recommend.

If you have an expensive animal or even just one you love a lot, then you will do your research into finding what the best products for them are like I did. There was only 1 other brand besides this one that was ranked as highly. Since that brand was not avaible on Amazon "which is easy for me to shop from" I chose this one. My bulldog has been eating them up since 2 months old. He loves the taste and is growing up healthy. Any good breeder will make sure you know that a bulldogs health guarantee is only good if you give them a quality daily vitamin.

Don't buy the cheap junk out there. I know this one costs more but look at the ingredients and google reviews. Its worth it.

My dog had surgery on his right leg (torn ACL) and also had a tear in his left leg. After surgery he was left with a limp because the left leg had torn. Shortly after giving him Hardypet Complete I noticed him limping less and less. He is now running and jumping on the couch without any problems, something he hasn't done in over a year! I attribute his progress to Hardypet, I am soo happy at how much it has helped his joints!!!
